I came here for a wake yesterday. All the staff were amazing, polite & hospitable. As an ex bar worker I am quite fussy about the service I get! Jade you were brilliant. The buffet was delicious & lots of it. Look out I will be returning!

Popped over for lunch while moving my daughter from Uni flats. With me being a Vegetarian I was really pleased to see such a great choice of different dishes to choose from. I had Louisiana Burrito, it was lovely! Nice & tidy pub too, the tables were clean and weren't sticky which is always a great plus! Thank you

Escaping the uni campus for a quiet lunch as it's reading week. Jamie gave excellent service. She made me feel welcome and happily went through all the non alcoholic drink options for me. I also overheard her very professionally handling a slightly over friendly (male) customer.

I went into this pub after dropping my daughter back at uni, very clean and friendly place. Placed my order at the bar and was interested with the pickled watermelon the server said is was very nice and it went well with the battered haloumii. I also wanted to know where the toilets were as it wasn't obvious and she was helpful with her directions. Think her name was Phoebe, but I all the staff were friendly and the pickled watermelon was lovely. Will definitely come again when I'm down next.

Super pub in a very good location, small plate sharers are a real winner, try the sausages, you won't regret it! We had one of each plate on a uni open day and loved them all. Also delighted to see they offer Green Kings alternative beer offerings as I'm no fan of Abbot or IPA, but Level Head is superb. Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere made for a good afternoon.

I enjoyed Karaage Sticky Chicken which I extremely liked and would recommend. Moreover, I would like to thank Hannah, who I was served by. Thank you for being very welcoming and polite to me. Also, it's great to be present at my first quiz night. I will definitely come again. ☺️

Great pub. I always go to the Monday Night Qui, usually to compete as the Lone Ranger, and it’s always a good crack. There’s something going on every night so check it out. Just be aware that it’s largely populated by Winchester Uni students.
