Polite staff and a tidy old-fashioned pub with a wide range of beers and ales available!
Great-sized courtyard garden to the front of the pub fenced in to keep four-legged animals in!
Love a neck oil pint so always happy to see them available on draft
We love this place. In fact, I grew up in this place. Literally in the pub. My parents ran it once upon a time. Itβs the kind of place you want to come after a nice, long walk, to sit, chat, & laugh with friends. To have a well-earned meal and a few drinks while the rest of the day, or night, slips
Lovely stay, host was amazing, turned up late after a hard days work, told us not to worry, get showered up, and come down when youβre ready. Beautiful freshly cooked dinner too and a lovely drop of ale.
Highly recommended π€
Love this little place - a friendly welcome to a lovely no-frills village pub, great value with good unpretentious food, delivered to our table outside in the sun really quickly. Set in the beautiful village of Easton near Winchester, it's not too far from the city but far enough to definitely be i
This is a lovely location to stop off at. The breakfast was perfect, drinks selection was spot on and I look forward to trying something from the menu of an evening on my next visit. Would recommend, nice and quiet, very comfortable beds and spacious accommodation with on suite. There is a adequate
If there were 6 stars this pub would have it. The owners are very attentive, friendly and welcoming. The food is absolutely lovely, generous portions Nice and cosy inside with real fireplace. π₯also very dog π friendly. Outdoor seating. Would strongly recommend π
This traditional country pub has just been taken over and the new tenants are finding their feet but the beer was well kept and flavoursome and, even though we arrived at 2pm on a Monday, the landlord happily took a food order and served us outside in the sunshine. I had a burger which was very tast
Visited these premises tge night before attending a local wedding. The bar area was nicely decorated, and the owner had put on food for wedding guests. The chilli was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful.
This is a little gem of a country pub. Under new management and the landlord and lady are so lovely. Food was excellent and I had the best pint of Guinness this side of Dublin. Bonus is they have the most gorgeous pub dog as well. Thanks for looking after us last Saturday. πΆπ
An interesting and very traditional country pub. Highly reccomend it. Not the pubs fault, but watch out for the pompous a*hole customer with round glasses, a plethora of lanyards around his neck and a patriarchal tendency towards misogyny. Avoid ghat guy, probay like all well thinking locals do. Pub
What a find! Gorgeous pub in pretty village. Superb customer service and the best ploughman's ever! Thank you
Loved the friendly staff so helpful really made you feel at home, showed interest in you, great food nothing too much trouble worth a visit π
Food very nice pleasant service. Lovely location with outside seating and plenty of flowers
A nice village pub, good food & a warm welcome. A shame we were just visiting & not local. Flowers on the bar were very pretty & from a local flower grower ~ Stem & Green.
Had a lovely walk from Winchester to Easton with the dog this afternoon and stopped in for some pints. Wonderful pub, super friendly staff, good selection of drinks on tap and a nice view of the cute village from the patio. Can't wait to return for a meal! Also 10/10 for being a doggo-friendly pub!!
The food was so nice and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. π―
