Popped in to Winchester to see what food we could find and we were not disappointed! Came across this restaurant by chance, and it was incredible! We had a starter, four of the small dishes and desert between two of us. Every plate was delicious and somehow got better with each course! Lovely, quick service and the staff couldn't do enough. The only thing was that the tables were very small for the number of dishes we had, but a tiny tiny problem compared to the rest. It was a fantastic dining experience, with flavours and textures I have never experienced before, and we will definitely be recommending this place to everyone and will be returning ourselves to try the showstopper and/or to sample more of your small plates!

Really ❤️ this place. Visited for brunch on Sunday 20th August 2017. The food was absolutely gorgeous, we both had the Asian prawn salad which was full of flavour and so fresh. We ended up staying for a glass of wine and a slice of the most amazing carrot cake as we felt so chilled. The staff, service and atmosphere couldn't have been better and the view was just lovely too. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you!

I've enjoyed lunches here but never had dinner until tonight. Wasn't disappointed ! I just love how much flavour you pack into your dishes ! It's so good to try a few sharing plates rather than one dish. Loved it - well done and thank you for a delicious meal! Great wine list too

Popped by this lovely place for the first time on the way to work. And very glad I did! As I am such a big coffee lover and tried every single coffee shop in town- By far this is the best coffee, the bearded guy behind the bar was so friendly and greeted me with a big smile on his face which was fab! What you need on a early morning, and took the time to make sure the coffee was perfect. Everyone in Winchester come in here and you won't be disappointed! This will deffo be my coffee shop from now on- thanks guys!!

I liked the coffee and the nice view out of the window at the Cathedral grounds. Did not sample the food so cannot comment on that.

My visit was a delightful experience. The menu is rich, offering a diverse selection of burgers. I particularly enjoyed the customizable chicken burger and the unbelievably good lamb burger. The standout, however, was the unique and delicious CHIPS that accompanied the meal. Our waiter, Ed, was friendly and attentive, enhancing our dining experience. However, it's worth noting that the outdoor dining option, while pleasant in cooler weather, might not be ideal on sunny days due to weather and the presence of flies and bees. One minor drawback was the slightly longer preparation time, possibly due to the restaurant's popularity and crowds. Despite this, I wholeheartedly recommend giving The Dispensary Kitchen a TRY. It's a must-visit spot deserving of your day off or a special dining experience, with its exceptional food and service making up for any minor inconveniences.

The best burgers me and my mum have ever had. We had half each of the shredded chicken and beef brisket, they were both absolutely devine. I could not recommend eating here more. Even the chips were beautiful. 100% will return. These really just aren't any burgers !!!

Really friendly staff, great staff and delicious food! We had the soy and sesame pulled pork burger, onion fritter, fennel, cabbage and spring onion slaw sesame mayo and paprika salted fries and the shredded chicken burger, bacon smoked cheddar, hash brown, tomato, chilli jam and paprika salted fries. No picture of the fries but everything was really tasty with great ingredient combinations. Great sized portions.

Hubby and I found this place by chance. Nice welcome. Small inside so not much space to feel really comfortable. We both ordered the lamb burgers however once we started eating they were both beef brisket. Not an issue for us however could have been bad if you don't eat beef for religious reasons. The waitress was lovely about it and we continued to eat it. So delicious and massive. The best burger and chips we've ever had!. The ding beer was pretty special too. If only we lived closer!. Yummy 😋.

Probably one of the best burgers I ever had. Super friendly staff, great food, great beer and cocktails and very reasonably priced. Note: don't make the same mistake I made and bring a bit of cash as they can't put tip on your card (soooooo sorry!!!)

Probably my best ever five star. The beer was top class as were the cocktails The hosts, Ed and Aidan, were very knowledgable on all aspects of the menu. Decided to eat it here and we were not disappointed. The pulled pork burger was the best that I have ever had.

Great food, great service with a smile and comedy and a lovely view of the cathedral. With the selection of burgers offered my wife and I struggled to choose. So we went for a shredded chicken, hash brown, bacon burger and also the halloumi, avocado and roasted pepper burger. We cut both in half and shared. They were both delicious and the fries were great too. While we were there a few couples who arrived and left without ordering. We were shocked by this as there is a menu clearly displayed outside. I would challenge anyone who says they don’t really like burgers to try this place. There is nothing but “burgers” on the menu but they are so much more than a burger and not one option conforms to a “standard beef burger”. Lastly, whoever decides the diverse playlist is a legend. Great music 🤘🏻

Lovely relaxed place. Can take your dogs if want to and I love these kind of places! I didn't have a dog but I see this as a good thing. Lovely food too! Service was friendly and welcoming.
