A lovely cafe with a small but well chosen box of toys, excellent cake and the beautiful fountains & museums next door for a fairly child friendly run around afterwards!

Stopped in as was dropping some bits at the museum next door. Had a lovely cappuccino and an incredible piece of carrot cake, fresh, moist and very tasty. Chap who served us was friendly, polite and more than happy to cater to whatever my elderly mother wanted. Worth a visit

Beautiful little restaurant with all copper cutlery and seating, nice Coffee and good selection of food snacks , cakes. Freshly prepared produce using care and polite service, plenty of space and outside seating, useful when visiting Great hall, gate museum or military museums.

It's great .... the menu isn't vast but the food was really tasty, the service quick and the staff were friendly. Joe's is a small place but well worth a visit if you are looking for somewhere quiet and good value. Loved the mismatched china plates and tea cups too :)

OK for a break during our visit to the museums. Not a huge choice but what they had sufficed.

A hidden gem... in fact almost a secret as not signed from outside! Great coffee and selection of food. Friendly staff. Check it out if you're up near the old barracks. *Update* The best Cheddar, Red Onion and Tomato Sourdough Toastie 😎

The food here was the best, so good we had to return for breakfast the next day. Excellent. There's also a museum here.
