The taste of the sushi at this place is absolutely amazing, but I must admit that the service was disappointingly slow. Surprisingly, when we ordered through Deliveroo before, the delivery time was much quicker. Despite that, I still highly recommend this place due to the outstanding quality of the food. However, do keep in mind that if you dine at the restaurant, you may experience significant waiting times between plates.

The guy who made our food was very kid friendly to the kids there and they had lots of fun. They did amazing fresh food right in front of you. Everything was perfect, no complaints from anyone!

Nice lively place with live teppenyaki. It was quite busy on the weekend so we made a reservation online. However, it seems they were not using the digital system and might have been unaware of our booking. Nevertheless, we were seated promptly and served very quickly. Food is good too, definitely recommend the teppenyaki.

Two points I'd make, which aren't negatives they'll just help plan your visit.
If you want to avoid a late night go for the early sitting, we booked for 8pm but didn't eat until 9pm.
If you're hungry go for the chicken, salmon or prawns, these were cooked first as they need to be cooked through. The steak and duck can be served medium etc so came up last.
Tonight was my first ever teppanyaki experience and it was amazing. Very attentive and what a show to see. Certainly built your appetite even more! Would certainly go again!

We enjoyed a lovely working lunch at Samurai.
The staff are really friendly and can't do enough for you.
Portion sizes are some of the best in Hampshire, especially my scallops which aren't done justice by my poor photography! They were lovely and fresh and huge!
The prawns and the duck were also superb as was the freshly prepared sushi.
For an entertaining good quality meal you would do hard to better Samurai.
We dined at the Teppanyaki table. The experience was great, the staff were friendly and attentive. We had the set menu which was very good but the dessert options were a bit limited and it would have been nice to have been able to try some of the regional dessert options (the options were ice cream, coffee, tea or a spirit). The restaurant is mainly downstairs and is reasonably quiet for a Friday night. Booking online was easy and the menu and pricing was all very clear.
Restaurant dacor was good , chef was good only 5 mins worth of tricks tho then just cooked the food it could of been spread out between the dish's
When we arrived the reception staff was very nice. The food was delicious and good value for money. It was generally very clean and tidy as well. The manager was always aware of us and the waiters were very kind. In short, I would go back again without hesitation. I recommend the Nigiri and Fusion Style Maki from the menu. In seafood, the Sea bass and tilapia.
Great occasion venue, drinks staff were a little slow but overall happy with the evening.
