If you're visiting Winchester you have to visit this place. As you walk up the main shopping street you'll see signs for Parchment Street which is where a number of really nice shops and cafes are located and Audrey's is definitely one of them. The place is much bigger on the inside than it appears from on the street with a number of different rooms available. We just had a light lunch, but if you're feeling inclined you could go the whole hog and have a full afternoon tea. Our neighbouring table had this and it looked amazing. We only wished we had more time to come back and sample this but that will have to be for another Winchester trip.. Our food came out quickly and was as delicious as we expected. The owner (don't know if this was Audrey) was delightful and even gave us a number of recommendations for places to see when we were heading off to our next stop in the New Forest. Definitely a place to visit if you are ever in Winchester.

Today we visited Audrey’s Tea Rooms for an afternoon tea to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The detail that went into the set up was amazing. Ruth had gone out of her way to make sure there was a clock hanging above our heads in recognition of one year being married. She also had set the table up with the beauty and the beast rose and garland and prosecco glasses…Beauty and The Beast is my absolute favourite Disney film ever!!!! The food was fresh, super tasty and there was so much of it I had to take a cake home to enjoy for later. Absolutely outstanding and would recommend anyone visiting Winchester to visit. Thank you so much for making our special day perfect!!!!

Visited a day or so after opening and already the new owners had everything in hand. A warm welcome, service with a smile, delicious coffee & if you ask my 3 year old, very yummy cake. We can’t wait to return.

We hired the upstairs of Audreys for my sister in laws hen party. Ruth went out of her way to accommodate us, regularly checking we were happy and if there was anything they could do to help. She even went out to Robert Dyas to buy a fan as it was an unseasonably hot day! She catered to our individual dietary requirements and i don’t think there was anything else she could have done to make it more of a success. The food was amazing and plenty of it (she even gave us boxes to take leftovers home). Highly recommend x

Follow Mr & Mrs R on TikTok. A proper Tearoom that is a little off the beaten track. Look for the pink bicycle on the high street and follow the signs, I promise you won’t be disappointed. Run by some lovely ladies who can’t do enough for you, will even charge your phone if you ask. My wife and I had a gin cream tea (Bombay Safire with ice and lemon) loads of others to choose from. Definitely a must for tearoom lovers.

Very nice tearoom nearby the Highstreet in Winchester (near Buttercross monument on Parchment street). A hidden gem ! Cosy seating, friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere, with a touch for details. A well deserved 5 out of 5 rating !

Nice little tea room in Winchester, away from the busy high street. We had a lovely quick lunch and cream tea here. The loose tea earl grey was very good, so were the fruit scones. Sandwich and soup were simple but hearty. The coleslaw that came with the sandwich was freshly made and delicious. Very pleased that we found this place.

Popped in to Frieda's tearoom a couple of times during a recent trip to Winchester. I had poached eggs and spinach on muffins for breakfast which was quite substantial. I later popped in to try the home made cakes. I had the carrot and almond which was delicious. Very friendly staff make you feel very welcome...highly recommended.

I went here with my sister and parents for a late lunch. The atmosphere is 1940s, with fascinating WW2 RAF memorabilia. The coffee and food was superb; I had the "healthy salad." The host, Ruth, deserves a special mention as she was fascinating to talk to with interesting stories and very friendly - I will certainly be visiting again next time I'm in Winchester! Highly recommended!

It was a rainy rainy day. Perfect for a tour of local author Jane Austin and right off the path of her resting place is this little tearoom that is just perfect atmosphere and great step away from the rain. I got a window seat and the lemon blueberry cake is a delight. A quick pop in is worth the day visit in Winchester!

Small cute tea cafe. Delicious flat white and cappuccino + lovely tea cups. I love how cozy the feel of the cafe is. The cute chairs, colorful paintings and the decor 😍not too pricey too! Would highly recommend it for afternoon tea with friends!

A quaint tea room off the main road in Winchester. The china does not match but that is the attraction. Look out for the hanging lights!! It is the quality of the service and freshness of the food away from the hustle and bustle of the named restaurants. Our sandwich was freshly toasted and well filled. The cream tea scones were warm and enjoyable. Would visit again!
