We stopped for a pint at The Queen Inn on a sunny Sunday afternoon in August. We received a very warm welcome from the bar team and ordered our drinks - which we found were very reasonably priced. They also produce a range of their own beers, and it’s nice to see the equipment as you enter. The pub has an abundance of outdoor spaces, as well as some undercover outdoor seating too. It’s a lovely place to sit out and enjoy the sunshine. We didn’t eat but the food menu sounded great, and I’ll certainly be back to try it myself soon!

First time I’ve been there. The place is amazing. Very nice atmosphere. Staff are very friendly. Ive ordered the buttered fish. Unfortunately it was too greasy for me so i only had a bite but the waitress kindly asked me if i wanted something else and removed it from the bill. Fries and the tartare sauce was nice tho. My friends had the smoked chicken sandwich they said it was okay but nothing interesting and they didnt taste any smokiness. Hopefully we’ll have a better experience next time.

Greene King pub, oh the beer will be rubbish you think, but no! The Queen Inn brews their own and they have an array of first rate guests on as well. Lunchtime sandwiches were also awesome with killer chips! Would go out of my way to get back to this pub without a doubt.

Microbrewery and great food, what more do you need?! The burger was fantastic! (Ignore the old review, the newer one and mine are correct - maybe they got a new burger chef!).

Lovely pub with very good menu & food. Lots of outdoor seating, with heaters and blankets for when it’s colder too. Very friendly and attentive staff. Also a microbrewery with take away beer available!

Excellent and friendly service. Unfortunately the food was average. Fish and chips, as well as the onion rings on the burger were over cooked and quite oily. Same with the burger. In-house brewed beer was great! The garden's ambient atmosphere is lovely! The pub is dog-friendly.

Just refurbished so looks beautiful throughout. Parking, seating outside front and a rear garden as well as plenty inside. New onsite brew kit on the way. Amazing food, excellent beer, friendly and knowledgeable team all with good prices- nothing more anyone (reasonable) could ask for! Highly recommended

Great Sunday roast...£17.95 for a full plate. Great selection of seasonal veg, Yorkshire pudding and pink beef. Choice of beer was good too as have onsite microbrewery. Sat outside on road side as didn't realise that there was a big garden behind. Amazing staff who were highly attentive and very dog friendly. Our visit ended a lovely circular walk around Winchester via water meadows, cathedral and town. A great end to an enjoyable morning

It’s definitely a mixed crowd at the Queen Inn, but the staff are amazingly friendly and make you feel very at home and there’s plenty of space for you to park yourself away. The beer/ale selection is extensive and there is definitely something for everyone, including a selection of their own ales brewed on site. The food however, is where things start to fall apart as there is a fairly basic selection of underwhelming food - which is a shame.
