This place is an absolute must-visit! The pizza here is of excellent quality, and they offer a wide variety to choose from. Despite arriving late when they were already busy, the staff quickly found us a table and provided excellent service. We were all delighted with our pizzas and decided to indulge in a chocolate brownie for dessert. Let me tell you, it was so incredibly delicious that it disappeared in an instant as soon as it was placed on the table—I couldn't even snap a picture of it!

The food came out quickly and tasted amazing. For starters we ordered the mozzarella garlic bread, and it was so cheesy and flavoursome. Would highly recommend ordering for starters. The pizza came out shortly after and tasted like authentic Italian pizza. The pizza has lots of flavour and cheese.
Lovely pizza restaurant located right by Winchester's impressive Cathedral. Food came out quickly and was well cooked and tasty.
Such a delightful find. Very tasty pizzas as authentic as we found in Italy .
I’m traveling so my appetite has not caught on to the 8 hour time difference. Realizing that it was getting late I dashed to the square to forage for something anything to sustain me, and so pleased with my hasty decision. I plopped myself at an empty table and in no time I was greeted by a very nice and attentive waiter. I believe it may have been the owner or manager that brought my pint, equally as friendly (a value that is lately in short supply). I ordered a simple pepperoni pie. Let’s face it, the bedrock of a good pizza is the crust. They have nailed it in that department. Not thick and bready, crisp at the edge and a couple of those wonderful air bubbles, I don’t know why, but I love those. The sauce was spot on, tasting of fresh tomato lightly seasoned with garlic and oregano. They use a good quality pepperoni, not salty or too thick, it gets that nice little crispy edge. Fellow pursuers of the perfect pie know what I’m talking about.
As I said, it was late and I realized that these lads were ready to close shop, but they started the breakdown quietly and respectfully so as not to make me feel rushed. I highly recommend dining here for every reason and expectation one dines out.
Great staff, good pizza and great cocktails and desert! No trouble getting a table despite no reservation... Loved it, everything I expected from a sourdough pizza place.
Rounded a day trip off here before getting the train back and it was fab!
Stopped in for a quick bite near the Cathedral. It was super busy but we got a table right away and the service was good. Most importantly, it was one of the best pizzas we've had in the UK! Excellent crust, good sauce, could have used a bit more basil. We split a Margarita Pizza and had a couple of beers. My husband would have liked more choices of ale on draft. We'll be back!
The pizza; Roasted Flat Mushroom, was as good as expected from Three Joes. The sourdough crust was baked to perfection.
The Cheese Macaroni was a very delightful starter... the cheese had a very distinct flavor
The hostess was very friendly and forthcoming with possible delays as they were short on staff in the kitchen.
We enjoyed every bite of our food. I highly recommend visiting Three Joes for unforgettable pizza.
Visited last Saturday. Great pizza and excellent service, in a prime location. Only niggles were slightly limited kids menu, no children cutlery (this does applies to just about every restaurant) & the lemonade we had, was too bitter... & I love lemonade! Still, throughly recommendable 🍕 👌🏼
Fabulous pizza overlooking the cathedral, a stones throw from the High Street. Big flavours, great sourdough bases and friendly staff. We visited on a damp Sunday afternoon to feed hungry children and it was ace.
Perfect pizzas, staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. They were really busy and were all working hard to get drinks/food delivered. Slight delay with drinks but could not be helped and didnt spoil our meal.
Fantastic enjoyed my crispy flavourful pizza would definitely go back again. I can see why this place was busy. Accessible: Y
Staff were friendly and helpful but looked a little flustered. Beautiful view of Winchester cathedral if you're in a window seat. It's quite cosy and pretty warm inside, given it wasn't that warm a day. Lots of choice on the menu for both pizzas and drinks, reasonably priced too. Pizza was average, although the sourdough crust was tasty. Thought there were minimal ingredients on top which was slightly disappointing. Given it was quite a popular day and the restaurant was busy, we still waited almost an hour for food to come out. Maybe a place to go outside of a summer weekend.
A fantastic evening! The place was busy but the staff were quick to seat us and take our orders. They explained they had a big group ahead of us and there would be a delay. We were in no hurry, so not a problem. A set of 1980s Trivial Pursuit cards on the table kept us entertained (didn't know any of the answers but had fun making up ideas as to what they could be).
Staff came over a couple of times to update us as to where our order was.
The pizzas were delicious - great sourdough bases, and the toppings really flavourful.
We had coffees, but when we went to pay, we were told there was no charge for them as compensation for the delay (which we hadn't even complained about).
There was a great atmosphere, friendly, helpful and generous staff. Amazing food.
We were seated during a busy lunchtime service by a girl who confessed she'd recently started at the company so to bear with her. We luckily got a table outside so could enjoy the weather and view over the Cathedral grounds and were given a few minutes to browse the menu.
There is a good choice of Italian food available with a few combinations you won't find elsewhere. It is an affordable priced menu in comparison to other highstreet pizzarias and despite being her second day our waitress had a good knowledge of the venue and was quick to find out information if she didn't know. We each ordered a pizza and I was awkward enough to ask for a custom pizza that wasn't on the menu and they arrived better than expected. We also ordered some roasted potatoes and salad and my one complaint is that the table wasn't big enough!
It's only been a few weeks since launch and we have visited Three Joes four times! :D we're really happy an independent like this has opened in Winchester and look forward to seeing it grow over the next few months.
Great place in Winchester for a pizza. Place was filled with kids so it was nice to have a family atmosphere. Pizza was ok, although not the best we’ve had - unfortunately, ours were a little bland. Wider variety of pizza flavours would be great.
Unbelievable pizza. Found it too difficult to pick they all sounded superb. Very good food. Service was a bit below, but we understood they were short staffed. Always book a table.
