What a great pub. Stopped for 2 nights with pals. The landlady, Liz was welcoming and friendly. She went out of her way for us and nothing was too much trouble. Great food and such an historic pub. All five of us had a fantastic stay. Liz has a great sense of humour and is fantastic company. We are
Had a 2 night stay at this establishment. The landlady, Liz, welcomed us on our arrival and showed us our rooms and was extremely helpful. We spent our second day on the Gloucestershire steam railway and Liz ran us to Winchcombe Station (2 journeys for her). The rooms were clean and functional and I
We visited on a Saturday lunch and could not rate this pub any higher. The landlady (Liz) was an absolute gem, her Irish humour and hospitality was perfect. The food we had, Beef brisket baps, were the best we have ever tasted. This pub is a gem in Winchcombe. To top our experience, Liz took us to
This pub is an absolute gem! We were served by Liz who has a warm and welcoming Irish manner. She was attentive and made us feel at home. We decided to sit right by the bar to speak to her as she was very funny. We had beef brisket baps for lunch. I’m not exaggerating when I say that they were the
Wonderful 500 year old pub in the heart of historic Winchcombe. Handy for visiting the town including shops, restaurants, and other pubs in the town. Within walking distance of the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway. Our landlady Liz welcomed us and couldn't have been more helpful throughout
Such a friendly pub and the beer garden is fantastic, it small dog just loves it. Bar staff is really friendly and helpful. Shame they are not doing meals at the moment as they sound amazing.
