Found fab free fishing in Wimborne! Recommended rising sun for lunch. Beef chilli nearly as good as mine! Will definitely return. Very friendly welcome. Dog friendly. Beer & wine fine!
Found a pub by the river... beautiful inside..I would imagine in winter it is really cosy....new landlords(family run).....great outdoor space with plenty of tables and seating...food was really good.prices were cheaper than others in the area....had such fun there and all the staff and locals were welcoming....if I lived here this would be my local.also super dog friendly to all of you that want to have a walk ...a pint with you furry friend....well done to you all.x

Had a great couple of days in Wimbourne and this was one of our favourite pubs. James his wife and staff are very friendly and welcoming and we had a lovely Sunday lunch overlooking the river washed down with a couple of well kept beers too.

It has a relatively large yard and space so you can spend your hours there comfortably.
It has parking nearby and is also on a main road.

A friendly, local, lively pub. We went in for a Sunday roast and were not disappointed. Quite busy when we went, but to be expected given time of day! Also had dessert which was very nice. Great food and great value.
Great place for a midweek drink. Lots of outdoor seating if you want to enjoy the last of the summer evenings. Staff are welcoming and friendly. It's also a dog friendly pub.
Amazing place... The staff is so so friendly and helpful, they make you feel very welcome. Good food and an amazing atmosphere. For sure we will keep coming back💛💛
