From the location, to the food, to the staff… absolutely exceptional! The best cooked burger I’ve had in Scotland by far! The patty was perfectly seasoned & perfectly cooked. The staff were so so friendly & easy to have a laugh with. We did have an issue with one of our meals but that’s bound to happen with how busy they were, they resolved it instantly without a fuss! Such a homely feel for a pub that’s haunted! Do yourselves a favour and get a feed if you’re in the area, you won’t be disappointed.

Went for a meal, got the chicken burger and a pizza. Service was great, polite and Friendly. The pizza was tasty and good quality. No complains to be found! And it’s in a lovely location.

Had a really nice pizza here for lunch while out cycling, will go back next time we're staying in the area. Garden could do with a bit of TLC but nice view and very quiet location
