Quintessential British pub. Staff are fantastic and make you feel welcome. Local roast beef was the most flavorful I've had for ages. Warm and cosy with lots of selfie spots and a pool table in the barn. Great value and service. Free carpark. Lots of live music and events. Can't wait to go back.
We visit this lovely pub every other week. The ladies behind the bar are always smiling and they go beyond our expectations with their hospitality. Lovely pool area for the kids at the back. Great food and people.
Went here for a pub lunch. The food was very reasonable, my jacket potato and cheese was only £4, and very tasty too. Would recommend.
Very friendly welcome. Only had a drink, but the wine and beer were very good and extremely reasonably priced. Less than £10 for a large glass of wine and a pint of beer.
Where we live, you pay that nearly for the wine alone.
Popped in without a lunch booking on the Sunday of the music festival in Wimborne. We had tried 2 other pubs first who couldn't take us and were obviously at their limits. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel welcome; the food was delicious served on hot plates 🍽. W

By far the best pub in England for a Sunday roast, a few beers and a starting location for a mid-afternoon walk. I love this place and miss it so much. New Zealand needs a place like this.
Traditional Pub with proper beer & lovely food, haven’t visited in quite a while because of C19 & Wimborne FC moving but it was great to be back. Fantastic 😂
Came to the pub following a visit to the cemetery. Received a warm greeting and ordered drinks. Food order taken and food arrived in good time, hot and tasty. Good price. I would certainly visit again. Thank you.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch here. We had every intention of having a roast, but the burger with bacon, mushrooms & cheese sounded just too good! It was amazing & plenty of it. Outstanding, they cooked us a beautiful ham egg and chips even though we arrived an hour before dinners started, lovely and friendly staff, the food was delicious

Super friendly and accommodating, the whole experience was wonderful. Our roast dinners were stunning and we enjoyed a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Staff were incredibly kind and attentive and we will certainly return. We would also highly recommend The Green Man to others!
