The Old Thatch - Wimborne Minster - Photo album

Been driving past this place for over 38+ years and have never entered!! What a great find.. obviously it's not the same pub as it was so many years ago but just a beautiful set up and a great place to eat as a family, individual, music supplied. Great outdoor area to eat and the inside is tastefully
I had booked for a party of four for Sunday dinner. We were not disappointed, we were looked after on arrival by Rachel who served our table. The serves as very good and wasn't waiting long between courses. The food just melted in your mouth and so far the best Sunday roast out that we've had locall
We had lunch here a few weeks back and decided to try out the Sunday Roast today. The food is a absolutely delicious, generous portions and beautifully presented The staff, in particular Tamsin, are very knowledgeable about the menu and all the sister restaurants Lovely venue, will definitely be ba
The Old Thatch in Stapehill, Wimborne, Dorset, a 17th century pub which sits directly opposite historic Stapehill Abbey has a very warm and welcoming feel to it, from the roaring fireplace to the friendly smiling staff. My wife and I decided to try this place out as we had heard great things, and we
Popped in here after a lovely dog walk. On Saturdays they do brunch! We all had the Thatch full breakfast which was perfect topped off with a Bellini! Service was spot on, very friendly and efficient. There is also a little shop on the premises with fresh bread and other bits and bobs! Dog friendly.
What a beautiful place both inside and out. It has a cute little shop inside you can buy jams flowers and other home made/grown items. We had Sunday lunch, and omg it was delicious and very plentiful. Staff were so nice and friendly too. Would definitely recommend. X
I have been here twice with group of 12-15 people and both times we had great experience! We will definitely come back! Food is 🤯🤯🤯
Great food but abit on the pricey side. Walked in and you get hit with the smell from the artisan bakery and the rustic vibes made it feel really homely! Great place to come for catch up for a coffee or a pint
My favourite place to eat. Top quality food, best meals I've ever had... And the setting is brilliant. There is an outside area with tents, and a stage for music and pizza place. Inside there is also a little shop selling local goods and flowers. It's very cosy inside and staff are good. I recommend
We took over The Old Thatch for two days of filming for a local feature film production! The staff were so lovely, helpful, and accommodating. I cannot praise them highly enough for their support during the shoot. They provided catering, too, and the food was consistently phenomenal. Perfect idyllic
