Had an amazing Christmas meal here, even though there were 14 of us all meals came out effortlessly together & was one of the best tasting Christmas meals I’ve ever had. Staff were great too, very well run pub. Big thanks to Drex, Sally & all the staff.

Celebrated my Granddads 80th as well as a family reunion. We were perfectly looked after by the staff and the food was spot on. Typical large country pub servings which went down well with everyone. A table of 20 and the staff executed flawless service. Thanks to all the staff and management. We all highly recommend and we'll most certainly be back.

Took the dog and sat in the bar and had a wonderful lunch. Have the two courses for £12 lunch and both the starters and the main courses were excellent. They were advertised as smaller appetite meals for the deal....but came as a full meal!! the staff were wonderful and friendly and brought a bowl of water out for the dog and gave him dog biscuits as well. Lovely cosy atmosphere. Will be coming here often

From the moment we walked through the door we were welcomed. The atmosphere was lovely. Service was excellent, everyone was so friendly. Loved the menu. Great for vegetarians ( which my mum is ). The food was piping hot and tasted amazing. Will definitely be visiting again and tell everyone what a great pub go to.

Just moved back to Poole from southbourne area and Sunday we went back to the stocks inn after a five year gap and it was just as good as remembered and now it's going to be our regular lunch place to go ...staff so friendly and food reasonable priced with good size portions

Had a lovely lunch here today! Kids eat free From 2-5pm, Mon to Sat, so it was amazing value for me and my husband with 3 children. We had a main and our 3 kids had a meal and a pudding, and we only paid for one of their meals, which was good value in itself. I had the vegetarian stir fry, my husband had the Cajun chicken burger and the children had macaroni cheese, chicken nuggets and a hot dog. All lovely quality food and good portions. Will be back very soon! Lovely food and great service ... highly recommended

Went with friends on a booked visit. A welcome as soon as we stepped inside. Showed us to a nice window table. Allwed a couple of minutes to settle in and handed out the menus. Very friendly and relaxed service. Food was excellent, liver and bacon to die for. Busy atmosphere from a fairly full restaurant. Wonderful experience and will definitely go back. Found the big mirror a bit disconcerting. Those who know, know. Thank you The Stocks.

Went for lunch, pretty busy inside, which we felt meant the food should be good. We weren't disappointed, good-sized portions, friendly service, and prompt with our drinks. Fair value for the money we spent. Following our meal we went out to the garden, plenty of tables. A pleasant couple of hours. Would recommend 👌

Review 20th May 2022 The Stocks Inn On holiday in Dorset we have passed this Inn many times in the past but for the first time we and two friends booked a table at the restaurant; we were not disappointed. The ambiance was special a delightful warren of ancient spaces. The food was excellent and the young lady, Hari gave us friendly fantastic service. The selection of dishes on offer was great, I had a tasty curry. Overall a fabulous visit and I feel sure that we will return when in Dorset again. Thank you Hari.

Very nice outside seating area at this restaurant, easy drive to get there and lots of quality parking. Inside was kind of vintage and old styled but very nice. Service and staff were amazing and very kind! Bar also looked very cosy for the locals! Would defo go back for drinks. Only recommendation is add some sauce to the burger!! Or an option!! Ideally some burger sauce but Mayo or ketchup works great! Patty was a very decent size and cheese was delicious - think it was sourced locally. Onion rings were also amazing!!

Popped in for a drink only. Sorry to find Richard has moved on. Didn't book a table, despite the menu looking very enticing.

Since the Stocks won local pub of the year it only felt right to give it a go. Jules and I left it a bit late to get a table, but when we called they said they could find room for us. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a smile and shown to our table. Service was fab throughout from everyone The menu offers traditional pub favourites. We went for chicken tikka and lasagne. The food came really quickly and tasted incredible. It was undoubtedly home made. The lasagne was another level to be fair. The best I've ever had from a pub. Portions are also a great size. Only got a picture of the cheese cake as we tucked straight into the mains. To top it off they offer 10% off all drinks and food for a year when you buy a £20 reward card. It will pay for itself in 4 visits. Going on how impressed we were this will be October. Well done stocks crew. 5 stars all round.
