The cafe has been refurbished and is now very big, warm and busy which is always a good sign. We only had hot drinks and cake which was amazing, so much choice when it comes to the cakes 🍰. The hot food looked amazing and the portions were
Hadn't realised it had been completely redone. We had been years ago and had avoided it ever since, until someone mentioned it had improved. What an improvement! Lovely inside, great menu, and the cakes and pastries looked good. Had a lovely meal, and we'll definitely be back.
Such a lovely place to meet chat and eat. The breakfasts are amazing and reasonably priced. Cakes are a little pricey but extremely yummy. All staff very friendly and always look so smart.
A great place to dine, chill, enjoy the weather and atmosphere.
The Kipling Parlour catering staff are really supportive in accommodating gluten free diners and our family birthday was a really nice experience.

I took my friend for birthday coffee and cake. It was beautiful inside and the view of the river was lovely.
There was a huge selection to choose from, and we opted for cheese scones, which were very nice.

Nice spacious restaurant, as a dog owner I was particularly impressed with the dog priority section near the entrance.
The food was great, I had the philly cheesesteak and as someone who has lived in Philadelphia I can say it was the nearest I have had in the UK to the real thing.

Popped in for a drink and a cake after a walk with friends. It was very pleasant and relaxing for the first visit after the refurbishment. A place to visit soon not later.
Beautiful little cafe, river views. So much choice and made on site cakes, scone and gorgeous patisseries.
Yes you pay a little more but the tastes are exquisite.

On my last visit. Not good enough giving a processed wafer thin piece of Turkey especially as the price was at the high end of acceptability.
Changing the dog seating is also a problem especially if you are on your own..
