Just had an absolutely lovely Sunday lunch which was enjoyed by everyone in our group. I can highly recommend the lemon and rhubarb cheesecake - yum!! The roast beef and sticky toffee pudding also got a big thumbs up If you've not tried the new menu yet, I would definitely suggest you give it a go

Great beer choice. Food was good and all at reasonable price. Oh, music in the afternoon was very good although later on, all I could hear was the percussion ! Turn it off at busy times cos what's the point when you can't even identify what's playing. I'm told "it's an age thing"!

We were lucky enough to be there for the opening of this great pub. Too many beers for one night we've been back twice since. It's great. Nothing fancy just great beer lots and lots of it, honest food and the staff are friendly and know more about beer than you do. The best thing to happen to wilmslow since lindow man.

This place is great, I had the beef burger with cheese and my mother had the vegetable curry aka bowl food. I have to say the burger was one of the best I've ever had, the atmosphere was calm and the place was decorated neatly if not a little sparse. The staff were very lovely and efficient and the events they have on look wonderful and will definitely earn another visit from me.

Great beer collection. I always find something different here each time I visit The Old Dancer. Beer is definitely 10/10. Tapas is nice as well. Sunday Roast whilst good, is not the best I had.

Always love coming here and have brought friends many times. Food selection is limited but what they have is good, whilst the drink selection is always top notch with a regular rotation of guest ales and a wide range of bottled beers too. They also seem to have a good wine selection and even service the designated drivers well. Atmosphere is lovely, with contemporary art on the walls from local artists and some comfy seating upstairs. Love the schedule as well, with film nights on a Wednesday, occasional guest speakers, CAMRA events... it's like they took everything good about bars in University areas but brought it to a quieter, more refined environment.

Really lovely helpful staff. We had a braised beef with mash lunch and the cheese and onion pie, both really tasty. Good selection of reasonably priced cask ales and a number of keg ales too. Very positive to baby nursing and has decent change facilities. Will definitely be back.

Range of beers magnificent, staff knowledge pretty good too. Well kept draught ale and regular changes. The range of bottled beer unbelievable. This also changes regularly. And the foods is not bad either.

My father and I rolled in here on a random Thursday night. Great beer selection and there were two old guys in the corner playing acoustic guitar, not hired by the bar, just sitting there jamming. Super awesome vibe, very cozy spot to have a couple drinks. No mixed drinks, beer and shots only.

Called in with my son for a chat over a couple of pints. First time in the place...really liked it. Quick service on a Saturday lunchtime. Beer choices really good...and menu looked fab. Will be back to try the beers and food.

The best place for a beer in Wilmslow. There is always a good selection on both cask and keg, with friendly staff who are happy to provide advice. Very conveniently located for the station if you've a little wait for your train.

Laid back environment, friendly staff, good selection of craft draught beers changed often and good selection of bottles. They offer a few food options, sandwiches and other things which I think are good value. Good for groups.

I really like this place. It's chill. It has character. I just had to get used to their beer selection rotating quickly. They consistently have a great berry cider that I love, at least.
