I’m so happy to have large cod with chips in The Big Fish. The fish finger barm was yummy. I love the tar tar sauce. I regret not to ask for double tar tar sauce. The chef and staff were friendly. Be aware that it closes at 2pm in the first shift.

Used the chip shop many times in the past. New owners I think? However the quality of their fish and chips is up there. Very nice, tasty. Good portions and so fresh. Yummy!
Amazing food however just be careful if your eating the fish with small children as I found a bone

My go-to chippy for consistently great fish and chips. I regularly call and place an order over the phone for collection. The staff are always friendly and clear over the phone. The quality of the fish and chips is great and they provide a variety of additional dishes such as kids fish and chips, pies and a spicy curry sauce! Would 10/10 recommend!

Great fish! Online ordering works well. Chip potions seem to have shrunk. Deflation in a world of inflation!
Fantastic and scrumptious food, but they did forget the drinks. But when I rang them up, they were very apologetic and said that the next time I came in, I could get the drinks.
Best fish we have had at a chippy! Staff was friendly and amazing. Couldn't finish all of our curry sauce but it was so good we wanted to take it home. Owner made us some fresh chips to take home on the house x Was so lovely and will absolutely go again.
After a year in Spain, my daughter just wanted a chippy tea & it didn’t let her down! But when shared with her Spanish friends they wondered why she had guacamole on her fish & chips !! #mushypeas
