First time in Manchester, & First meal in Manchester, this place was very good place for wine & dine. Food & Service was amazing , the only downfall was the tiramisu was so big portion, but apart from that it's faultless.

Firstly , the restaurant is very nice , busy and the staff are friendly and we will return. However , it's getting a little too expensive now , especially the wine prices and the 12.5% service charged automatically. The portion sizes were definitely smaller than our last visit - calamari £13 for 8 pieces and with the small dished prawn risotto having just THREE prawns for £18 !!! . The cheapest red wine was £30 , which again is pushing the boat out. Sweets are around £8 - again , way too much really. The thing that stood out was the automatic 12.5% service charge added to the bill. I don't agree with this feature at all and customers shouldn't be made to feel they have to pay this. Overall, we enjoyed the evening but perhaps will not rush back.

Went here for my friend's birthday. It is a beautiful place with great food and good drinks. It has a quite a large wine list. The food choice is great too, took us a good 15 minutes to finally decide what we wanted. It is quality of the food was great too. Really tasty. It is quite expensive for some of the dishes here but you get what you pay for. I did see some pizzas whizzing around which looked great and weren't overly expensive. We weren't waiting ages for food even though it was busy. The major downside here was actually the service. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. We had to ask more than once for some water, and also for our bill (both of which we waited quite a long time for). There was pretty much no interaction from them apart from taking our order. It just felt like they tried to do the absolute bare minimum. My friend said she's been there before and the staff were much more attentive so maybe it was just a busy shift. I'd still go back.

Food was great - we all had garlic breads (tomato and chilli, cheese and plain )all very good, I then enjoyed the lobster ravioli which was coated in a lobster bisque making it very enjoyable indeed. Service was top notch and the ambiance was really god particularly for a Thursday evening.

We visited Cibo for a Sunday evening dinner, having come to Wilmslowe the evening before a business appointment the next morning. Despite having no reservation, we were warmly greeted and made to feel welcome straight away and invited to sit at a really nice corner spot by the main window. Service was lovely and friendly, the food was brilliant, authentic Italian dishes. I can highly recommend the spaghetti carbonara.

Rating: Lasagna - 8/10 ⭐️ Fillet with truffle sauce 8/10 ⭐️ Cheesy garlic bread - 7/10 🌟 Thoughts 💭 Absolutely loved eating at this restaurant in Wilmslow. The service was great and the food was spectacular. The lasagna was full of flavour and the sauce on that steak was incredible! Reviews by @thefoodiestraveldiary

We enjoyed a great Birthday 🥳 Lunch here. We shared a Calamari 🦑 with saffron aioli as a starter which was perfectly cooked; followed by the lobster 🦞 ravioli & seafood pasta both of which were very tasty with tiramisu and profiteroles for dessert which were both excellent. A Moretti beer 🍺 & a glass of Montepulciano 🍷& 2 glasses of Pinot Grigio Blush. Good service throughout - we haven’t visited here for awhile - we were both impressed with all of the food.

I've never had a bad experience at Cibo in the past probably 10 years that I've been going. The staff are so incredibly welcoming and helpful, the portion sizes are great and so many options!

Great food, pleasant and professional staff, the atmosphere is good & always busy. A little pricey for my liking and a little pretentious tbh Good for a special occasion but not somewhere I could eat regularly.

I would say for how much the food in the restaurant costs I'd expect it to be nicer. The service was great, the server was attentive, polite and always had a smile. The decor of the restaurant was truly gorgeous, I wish I had taken a picture now. We were seated at a table under a couple heaters, the one I was sat by was off, which was good, but the one at the other end of the table was on and quiet warm, despite the restaurant already being warm enough. A problem I found I had was that the menu was actually massive, so big I couldn't actually see over it to see anyone else. I also found it had far too many choices and therefore words on the menu to look through, that I actually just gave up and went onto the Christmas set menu. There was five of us eating and three of us had the Christmas set menu which costs £40 for three courses. Now I'd say mine was really nice, I had tomato and basil soup for starter, chicken and mushroom in a creamy sauce and chocolate fondant for dessert. My one criticism is that the supposed garlic croutons that came with my soup, were actually three cubes of bread that didn't taste of garlic what so ever, other than that my set menu was delicious. My sister and mum, who also had the set menu, had nice starters, pasta and pate respectively, but they both had the same main of a turkey steak, with a turkey meat ball and pigs in blankets. I tried a bit of all three of those things on their plate and we all agreed, for both of them, the items were all overcooked. The turkey steak was tough to cut and chew, which shouldn't be the case. The turkey meat ball, which was literally a ball of turkey coated in bread crumbs and deep fried, was hard on the bottom, so hard that, that bit of it couldn't be eaten and then the pigs in blankets were clearly overdone as they were black, though they did taste ok. For how much the set menu cost they were a bit sad. I also observed that the garlic bread my brother-in-law got for starters, while pretty damn big, looked quite dry. However he was very happy with it, so maybe it tasted better than it looked. We all thought our desserts were lovely though. I had the chocolate fondant, which is what I took a picture of. I'd definitely recommend that and my tomato and basil soup, as it was amazing, if you don't mind bread cubes instead of croutons 😂 Saying all that, I did give the food a 4 star rating just because I did actually really enjoy mine, had I been my sister or mum reviewing the restaurant, then maybe I would've given the food 3 stars. I don't think this is a place I'd go again, it was nice to try but the food doesn't really seem necessarily worth the price and the big menu was really a struggle for me to look through.

You must try this restaurant when in Wilmslow! Food was super tasty and the service was one of the best ones we had in a while. Evi looked after us, the service was spot on. She was always attentive, recommended a brilliant wine and checking if we are happy with our choices. We’ll definitely be back!
