Atmosphere is great, landlord is very welcoming, but also talks to you and makes you feel at home. Very homely pub, very friendly, would recommend this quaint family pub. Neil the landlord is a great guy. Unfortunately we didn't try the food as we only nipped it for one on the way home.
Had a great night with the dwarf he was buying me and the mrs shots
Great amnoshete. Quiant little pub in a village. Landlord is great and very welcoming, nice to have a landlord that has a laugh with you. Very welcoming, helpful and down to earth. Would recommend this pub to anyone, you want a lovely village pub, come to this one! Cant put anything about the food
Oh my goodness. What can I say about this amazingly welcoming pub? Neil and Amy are the consumat hosts who will go above and beyond to assist any newcomers. Such the best hosts EVER! We will definitely be back for more x Ps that short arse behind the bar ain't too bad either
I didn’t believe the stories after moving to the village of a local pub ran and operated by a dwarf . After entering the establishment I was immediately transported back to the fellow ship of the ring when after meeting the landlord . But joking apart this pub being run by a vertically challenged ma
Well where do I start….. this pub is hidden in between two others but it packs a punch a boisterous although “small” landlord who cracks jokes with everyone regularly but always seems to come off worse 😂 Great with kids and always knows how to read a room. If there was anything I’d change it would
My brother and I had a lot of fun as the short and fat landlord gave us a lot of grief but simultaneously provided a warm welcome. The atmosphere was initially confusing but somewhat endearing. I would come back here but i would need some form of mental preparation beforehand. Fun for all the family
My wife and i, visted here for the first time on Sunday and we were imediately welcomed by James, a regular bar fly, who was a great chat. We then were served by Amy and just like James, she was very welcoming and friendly. Our third encounter was, what i can only describe as a below average height
Ace pub visit people bringing chippy in made us hungry so did the same and stayed a lot longer than expected, treated to an excellent singalong/busk/jam session, can't wait to return, pity it's 100 miles away, thanks for a very entertaining night
