2nd time here, this time for Good Friday. We had Annie both times who was lovely, very pleasant, attentive, helpful.
Table was clean and fish and chips was gorgeous.

Not used this place for a very long time but be certainly using it more often its so well organised even for a takeaway. *Gluten free review* I didn’t want to come to Hull without having a proper fish and chips. I couldn’t believe they offer amazing gluten free options!! A gluten free patty and battered fish, they even sell big bottles of gluten free vinegar. A coeliacs dream. Thank you so much!
Yesterday I went with my daughter to have fish and chips at Papas which was recommended strongly by a friend. We had a wonderful time in a wonderful place served by wonderful people and we tasted a very wonderful food. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed reading the history of fish and chips in UK

The food as ever was excellent, the large haddock And Chips with curry sauce was perfect, my wife braved the 2 battered Mars bars with ice cream for dessert but advises sharing it with another, far too much of a sugar rush for just one person.....

Went in on the Saturday of Easter weekend and it was the busiest I've seen. Staff were doing a fantastic job, so well coordinated and creating a friendly atmosphere despite the hectic job. I was in and out in about 10 minutes! Thanks so much for the great food again! 😄
Nice venue, Friendly staff, Fish was smaller than expected even though I ordered a large however, the batter was thin and crispy.
The tartare sauce tasted more like mayonnaise, the curry sauce was nice and spicy.
Overall would recommend!
