We haven't been there in ages don't know why. But we had a very nice meal see photos. Quick bar service & very quick getting our meal. I would recommend this place
I visit here often, usually with a few of my work colleagues. The atmosphere is always good. The staff are usually very quick and attentive, unless short staffed or the restaurant is full. Then they are litterally rushed off their feet. The food is delicious and there is a lot of it for the price, which in this cost of living crisis is amazing. Although I rarely have to pay because My Ian provides well for Me and my friends!
Started. Meal before photos,really hungry! All enjoyed, decent portions and cooked well. Nice atmosphere and service quick and pleasant. One criticism was although it was palatable it needed to be a little hotter. But will definitely try again.
Food was ok for just generic pub grub to be honest could have done with being a bit hotter as was starting to go a bit on the cold side BUT all the meals were bought out together and there was a party of 15 of us so was to be expected I guess, nobody greeted us on entry and although a woman was standing at the bar talking to the barman who we thought to be a customer but turned out to be a member of staff we announced our arrival to another member of staff who was somewhat more social and respectful and a very friendly young woman who dealt with our drinks and food choices and also the bringing out of a cake and serviettes.
If it wasn’t for this individual then I would have been rating this place lower than I have.
I can’t for the life of me remember her name, but if she reads this review and remembers a party of 15 for a 60th birthday meal then you are the reason this review is receiving a better one than it deserves and thank you for being patient/respectful and efficient.
The staff are very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection and we didnt have to wait for long. The plates were cleared quickly and the staff checked to make sure that you were happy with our meals and if we needed anything. It has to be the only restaurant we have visited that actually brought out separate butter to go with the corn on the cob. Top quality and highly recommended
My Wife and I have been coming here for a few years now. We come every Sunday and the odd Wednesday. We have no problems with the meals, service and very helpful staff. When I sometimes bring my kids along they love it too. Has far as I'm concerned we'll keep coming until they get fed up with us lol. Nice one Chris.

This place has been a godsend for myself and my son through the 6nweeks the breakfast kids eat free is amazing. Staff are friendly and cant do enough, lovely breakfast. Also been and do different offers 2 for £9.95 also really. Good plus have 20% off of lunch and dinner with AA card Cant fault the place staff or cleanliness X Also helping macmillian doing fund raising Brilliant 🌟

Not been in here for quite a long time, but passing by, thought we'd call in and check it out again.
A large place, clean and well set out. We decided as it was lunch time we might as well partake.
Staff were friendly, beer was kept in a good condition and food was excellent! Good quality and enough to satisfy our appetites. Was well worth calling in.

Food was great but was delayed, waited quite a while for the food to come out which was understandable I suppose as it was busy as it was a Sunday night.
Was kid friendly, ensure you have £1 coins for the machines handy to keep them occupied for 5 mins 😅 or get a table with a tv in the booth 😅, there were tvs showing the footie dotted around too so entertainment for the adults while you wait too !
