Cafe Rendezvous - Wigtown - Photo album

Dropped in for a drink and cake late on a Saturday afternoon. It was really nice to find somewhere open at this time of day as quite often most cafes in D&G close 3.30-4pm even in the summer. The staff were very helpful in describing all the lovely cakes on display. We chose to have warm Ecclefechan
Really good food. You'd think it's a normal cafe until you see the menu and choices of cakes and tarts. The salt n pepper chicken and walnut salad were tasty. And I can vouch for the salt and pepper chicken, as good as the ones I've tasted in Hong Kong. Carrot cake is yummy. Good portions and reason
Fantastic cafe in the town of book shops in Wigtown! Very busy as it was Saturday great staff with lovely service.
Visited Wigton as its always somewhere we've wanted to visit. Found the place a bit over hyped, some really good book shops, well the ones that were open looked good, but there not a lot more here. The only saving grace was this place. Not a big cafe but a very good selection of cakes, we had the Ec
A lovely little cafe that complements “Scotland’s national book town” nicely. A good amount of tables that can fit 4 people on comfortably. I had the bacon and brie panini which was excellent. The fries were also light and fluffy. A nice selection of drinks are available, such as tea, coffee and sof
Our first time in the Cafe, we visit the town regularly with our work. We were not disappointed, the service, food and value for money was top rate. The best meal we have had in a very long time in a cafe anyway, and with work we have visited a few. It would be hard to find a better deal in town
Stopped by for a breakfast Roll over the weekend. It's a lovely place, great atmosphere, quite busy (always a good sign) and the staff are attentive. Food was great too! Will definitely be back. Wigtown is a lovely quaint wee place too!
Lovely cafe that offers food on a blackboard. We plumped for cake and hot drinks. Cake was so good we got takeaway also. Staff were very nice, couldn't do enough.
Home made food and lovely staff. Great puds.
Enjoyed a late lunch. Food and service great. Staff very friendly. No problem with finding parking
Really good home cooked food, good atmosphere and the staff were really lovely and kind. So welcoming!
Lovely little place. Very friendly staff and excellent food.
Popped in for a drink and snack after going round the bookshops and found it to be a real little gem. The chocolate brownie was superb!
We found this café when exploring the local area and wanted a hot drink and something sweet, but our options were quite limited as most places were closed, so we went in. We had coffees and cakes, which were pretty good. The staff were very attentive and friendly as well. We would go back for sure i
Nice little cafe. Very friendly staff. Loved the mushroom soup. Village worth a visit.
What a gem of a place. If you want to simply sit and enjoy great food and chat then come here. A warm friendly little place with the best kind of home made goodness in the food. If you make it past the cakes on the counter without salivating you're a stronger man than I. The soup will warm you and
Lovely food, a range of gluten free options, friendly staff and the most perfect coffee. Thank you
