Absolutely lovely. We have driven past this place countless times but decided to drop in with my family. Had a beautiful cooked rump steak (rare, best way to have steak!) and the steak pie with two of the kids choice meals which were great portion sizes! The staff were really lovely, the place is pristine so kudos to whoever does the cleaning and the atmosphere is great. Definitely will return!

Called in on way from long day out with our fur babies. Bit early for food so had a pint while we waited. When it arrived, well I was full up before we started eating. I had lasagne and hubby had king prawns sweet n sour with rice and chips. HUGE. COULDNT FINISH but we'll worth the money. Dogs were quite at home sleeping after drinking bowls of water.

Fantastic portion sizes and tasty food. Very dog friendly. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable, and they made us and our dog feel at home. I would recommend the cheese and bacon burger if it's on the menu

Really excellent food. Freshly cooked and piping hot. Big portions. Great atmosphere, staff all brilliant and friendly. Regulars in bar also very welcoming to us first time visitors. Will definitely be a regular visitor myself. Vegan options on menu for those who are. Can recommend garlic mushrooms and the steak n scampi. Good selection on menu of proper food, not arty itsy bitsy bits n pieces. Great prices for the amount you get too. Go hungry!!!

We were staying at local campsite so decided to call in hoping to get some food. We werent disappointed, what a lovely friendly place. The food choice was great and the portions too big for me but the husband had a good go. The food is just good wholesome, homecookes food which you cannot fault. The owners are so friendly and even to the point I left my very expensive jacket on the first night and when we returned for more food on the second night, it had been put to one side and when we entered, the dark haired lady asked me if it was mine. That to me says how lovelt they are and honest. The second night we even joined in the local pub quiz and were made to feel welcome by the locals. This is a truely lovely pub and we will return when staying up the road. Just really nice food and atmosphere. Even the young waitress was really friendly.
