Lovely café, great lunch menu and sweet treats - especially the fruit scone. Can eat in or take out. Definitely recommend trying!

Worth a stop and a cup of tea or cake plus extensive menu and serves alcohol too!

A lovely find in this hidden-away location off one of the main streets in Wigton. The welcome was friendly, the premises clean and smart, and the menu fairly wide ranging (with some additional specials on blackboards). I visited twice, once to sit inside, and once in the sunshine outdoors. Both were excellent. Access is all at one level, and the washroom facilities well adapted and easily accessible for people with limited mobility. Definitely somewhere to go again.

Went for lunch. Fairly quiet, front part quite elegant, rear part cosy. Excellent coffee, food above expectations for flavour and reasonably priced. Will return!
Great find in Wigton. 4 of us went for lunch. The food was lovely, and the service was great. Nice decor. It would be nice if they did some evenings.
Great atmosphere and friendly service with lots of tasty dishes. Varied tapas menu, with main courses available too. Daily specials and lots of homemade cakes and bakes. Freshly cooked food with wine, cocktails, beers and ciders available. Lovely interior decor and comfortable dining space. Had to wait a while for food as was cooked to order. Would recommend.
We found this very stylish restaurant/cafe in Wigton Town centre while we were out walking. Good selection of food on the menu, even for the kids. Very friendly service from the staff who made us feel welcome straight away. The restaurant was lovely inside but we sat outside to enjoy the weather.
We've had an awesome meal at The Barista. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
I highly recommend it.

Loads of indoor and outdoor seating, in the sun even in November. Lovely coffee with Oatmilk too. Haven't tried any of the food yet but we will be back.
