After a busy day my partner and I decided to go out for dinner and wanted to go somewhere with a nice friendly atmosphere and relaxing natural views so a friend suggested The Aikton Arms. The establishment, atmosphere and staff were extremely friendly, warm and welcoming and we could feel ourselves

Stayed in Aikton for a week and ate at the Aikton Arms for three nights on the trot. At time of writing it is only open for food on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening. The food is delicious, all fresh cooked, served piping hot and the portions are very generous. An extensive menu to choose from to
Lovely Sunday lunch. The beef was excellent, the vegetables perfect and the desserts fantastic.
Good wholesome food freshly cooked. Nice people friendly and efficient. No frills good value. Book with confidence and enjoy.
A very extensive and varied vegetarian and vegan menu, all food was hot, served quickly and so tasty. Such good prices for the portion size and quality of the food too. We can’t wait to come back.

Had a lovely family meal here. This little gem just keeps getting better. Food was lovely and all home made. The service was spot on and had a real personal touch. I will definitely recommend and will be coming back.
Visited here this evening, lively pub with really nice ambience. The staff were welcoming and friendly, very helpful with both our orders and adjusting our food to our tastes. The food was lovely and very reasonably priced. Can't complain at all, had a lively evening and a great feed.
We stayed over in Aikton and thought we’d try out the local pub! We couldn’t recommend it more. One of the nicest places we’ve ate during our stay in the North Lakes. We went for a Sunday lunch, the meat was to die for and the home made brownie was great. The staff were friendly and very welcoming,
