Excellent lunch. Huge portions, ham, egg and chips to feed a small family! The beer was very good too and all fantastic value. We were cold, wet and hungry when we arrived but with the log burner blazing and a hearty meal inside us we felt much better when we left and able to finish the last leg of Hadrian's Wall walk. Thankyou.

Cannot fault. Great customer service. Very friendly. Amazing food except if you get the haggis and black pudding starter be ready for a strong whisky sauce!

A nice pub to find right up there in northern Cumbria near Port Carlisle. Friendly & very helpful bar staff. Not much for veggies & vegans but lovely bergers & big fat non- greasy chips. Very good.
