We arrived just as the kitchen was about to close but the staff were more than accommodating welcoming us as a family of 4 with 2 dogs. We both had hot roast sandwiches which were delicious, so much roast beef in tasty gravy. The kids meals were great too. Good size portions and reasonable priced. W
Surprisingly lively for early on a Saturday evening. Mainly diners but some drinkers as well. Good friendly service and quick as plenty of staff. Table (for 5) quickly available (in the bar) and typical pub grub served within 10 minutes or so.

Called Bank Holiday Monday evening looking for food, completely different approach to the pub round the corner, the lady on the bar went to check that the chef could still do something, absolutely no problem at all. Food was good bar food, just what was expected.
First time here, lovely friendly staff, the food is not only delicious but you get so much! Will definitely be coming back!

Lovely food, well presented and tasty, I had a lovely curry. Was very pleased to see whitebait as a starter, it's not often I see it. Service was great, we were greeted as soon as we came through the door and drinks sorted for us straight away. Would definitely go back
Absolutely superb food, great service as well, highly recommended. I had the burger of the day and my wife had a vegan dog, she says it was the best vegan dish she’s ever eaten. The burger of the day was fabulous.
We stopped here for lunch today. A nice place to visit for a relaxed afternoon meal. They have a full menu - and it was hard to choose what to eat.
Everyone was pleased with their choices. The food arrived after only waiting for a short while.

Super pub in Wigginton. We went for a meal and were greeted and shown to our table straight away. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food was served in good time and was top quality. We had Beer/ Cider and that was also well kept. Cannot fault the place ,it was spotlessly clean and offers good valu
Very popular with the locals. Very family and dog friendly! Food not overpriced, but quality not spectacular and portion sizes are not for those with larger appetites! Service a little slow. Seems the waitress could only carry one item at a time!
Took advantage of a sunny Sunday afternoon to pop in for a cool drink with my son. Friendly welcome on arrival and some delicious roasties on the bar too! We both visited on a cold miserable March day and we’re instantly welcomed by warm Yorkshire hospitality, good beer and brilliant chips and onion rings which we were permitted to eat at a quiet bar away from a busy restaurant. Overall a brilliant experience and we honestly can not wait to return.
We had a good hen party here. Elliott the new manager was very helpful in assisting us all, although, one or two of our crowd were cheeky to him. Thank you Elliott 🙂

Really nice service. The food menu is short, but what's offered is cooked well. Nice for casual alfresco dining. Try Yorkshire tapas :).
