Called in for the first time today. The building is nice and clean, well lit, and well ventilated. The toilet (only one and unisex) was clean, had hot water, soap, and paper towels, and if needed, free feminine hygiene products. I'm not an alcohol drinker, but my husband and son both had 2 drinks, and I had a soft drink followed by a glass of water that was freely available on the bar. I must say though that my favourite part of my visit was getting the chance to enjoy the food provided by Korean Grub Club, which was truly delicious. All in all well worth a visit!!

Loved our visit. Great bar and brilliant beer. Just wish it wasn't such a walk from Wigan centre

fantastic place. I didn't even know it was there an absolute hidden gem. all in-house brewing and craft ale. I scored a two on the food because I did not try it. when I spoke to people about the food they've said it was good and has different varieties each day, including vegan . wow, be careful on the pints, though, as there are some rocket fuel sets in their. 5 stars for the place, 5 stars for the craft drinks. we'll worth a visit πŸ‘

Hidden Gem! State of Kind brewery is situated at the top of Makerfield Way past the old Morrisons site. It's well sign posted from the road so you can't miss it. It's got a really relaxed chilled vibe. There are lots of Beers on the menu and I thought it was cool that we were sat next to the big massive vats brewing. The beer prices are reasonable for a real ale pint, if you want cheap rubbish then this isn't the place for you. Music was good and was a nice level that we could still have a good chat. I also think live music would be fab. It's dog friendly which is great for people passing on walks. They have different food vans on certain days but there was none on the evening we visited! My only suggestion would be for a hot drinks machine.

Went to the opening weekend. The beers are fantastic and reasonably priced. The Brewery Tap itself was well set out. We had a great time and will be back on a regular basis. Short walk either from Hindley Station or from Wigan.

We've been needing something like this for ages to bridge the gap between Wigan and westhoughton and here it is. A great selection of beers from themselves and plenty of guest beers too. Cans in the fridge as well as merch. Best thing to happen around here for a long while. Dog friendly and shuffleboard.

An unusual setting for hospitality but a great dog and child friendly place. Fantastic selection of ales and the food looked amazing although a diet prevented us trying. The ale is brewed on site
