Visited for the first time to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Warm welcome upon arrival, very attentive service without pestering. Food was excellent, hopefully the photos bring out the attention to detail. Will be returning!

Beautiful food. Loved the roast fig starter truly divine. Delicious beef for mains. All served in a lovely setting. Staff were fairly attentive and polite. I do feel this restaurant has potential to become truly top hole if staff adhered to food hygiene regulations. ie hair should be tied up, unpolished nails etc. I also prefer to see a maitre d in a shirt and tie. And staff in proper trousers not leggings. You are such a lovely team. These small adjustments would earn you 5*

We had a family lunch here today. The food and service were both excellent. The menu has something for everyone. The produce used is very good quality. The Children's menu had good choices too and substantial portions.

The best restaurant in Wigan? I think I'm going to have to say with confidence that this is indeed Wigan's best restaurant. The food, especially for the Β£20.50 for a three course lunch menu is superb. I don't think anybody could do better for that price. Highly recommended.

What a delightful little restaurant. Very tastefully decorated and great ambience. My meal was a departure from the norm, and it went down a treat. Easy to miss if you're driving past, and if you are aware of its existence, then parking can be a little tricky. Nevertheless, great little place. Top marks.

Situated in a stone built cottage, the main dining area is on the first floor, with a few tables below at ground level. We were warmly greeted and shown to our table. The menu offered a good selection of starters and mains without being diluted by too many options. Our mains of Persian lamb with couscous and mangalitza pork were delicious and cooked to perfection, with a lovely marbling of fat in the pork. A good selection of desserts were offered which again were excellent. Good beers and cocktails made this a memorable evening.
