This is a lovely, friendly bar - in line the ‘crafty’ name, it had a wide range of craft beers including some from abroad but also a number of cask ales. It’s clearly favoured by CAMRA and rightly so. I was only here for one night but went back for a second visit after the football match I was attending. I also had a pie which was nice and it’s dog-friendly. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Excellent selection of cask ales (5) and keg (30). It's worth the extra few minutes to walk to this pub which is just outside the town centre. The pub is Manchester Regional Pub of the year 2022 and Wigan local branch winner twice.
Voted Best Pub in 2022 and no wonder!! Great location, off the main town centre within walking distance of train station and bus station and with parking space outside.
An old building, that the owner has sympathetically restored, thus keeping that charm that's being lost on many of these revamped pubs and bars.
But the very best part, is the VAST selection of lager, REAL ALE and cider that is on offer inside. Quality beers, kept properly and treated with respect and the result is quality pint after quality pint!
If you want Fosters and Carling, stick to Weatherspoons!! But it you're a purveyor of quality lager, ale and cider, the Real Crafty is where you should be!!

Love Crafty. Staff are very friendly and certainly know their stuff too. Definitely recommend if you enjoy craft beer. Dog friendly too.
It's always exciting to visit and see what guest beers are on! It's always an adventure! The staff are very friendly and helpful, whenever I ask for the strongest beer on draft. Highly recommended!

A propper locals real ale pub
This public house served plenty of interesting hand pumped ales on
All were well kept and the pub had a open plan feeling to it leading to the bar with a easy going feel to the place
Played music which was 1980s feel to it
Reminiscent of bands I watched and still do

Best pub in Wigan. Loads of choice of well kept beers. Lots of seating between the 2 rooms. Friendly staff and good prices. The bogs are always clean as well 👍😀

Cracking craftbeer bar in the centre of Wigan. Vast selection of beers available. I had a pint and a pie and both were delicious. I will definitely be calling again.

Really lovely pub, and they really know their beer. Huge ale and cider menu, they made some great recommendations for us to try, and the background music was quiet enough so our group could have a proper chat. It had a great atmosphere with really friendly locals and loads of lovely dogs.
Wigan’s best new thing! An excellent selection of ever-changing keg, cask and ciders along with a strong line-up of Bottles and Cans.
