Staff are generally friendly, the food is fresh and tastes good. The selection availible is limited but they do have special menus frequently. The service is quick and polite. The resturant good whether you eat in or takeaway.
This restaurant is an eat in venue and also a drive through. It is well decorated and usually very clean, staff are on the ball clearing tables and mopping up spillages. Toilet facilities are also very clean and modern. It is very child friendly - lots of balloons, colouring packs, crayons etc always available for the kids.It has a small enclosed outdoor eating space for sunny days and plenty of room indoors. From a child safety point of view the only issue is that the drive through road actually passes the main entrance door so parents need to be on the ball when taking kids in and out, although there are zebra markings but cars rushing through the drive through don't always take notice of these.
The food is usually well cooked,and staff very helpful and well managed. Free newspapers to read, and wi fi available too.
I visited on Sunday 18th June with 14 children after ninja warrior had closed there kitchens early, but MacDonald Newtown in Wigan came to my rescue...they reserved a area for the children ...with balloons,hats and colouring stuff ...the service was

I love MC Donald's. My all time favourite drink is Iced Caramel Frappe. My go to burger is the Mayo Chicken or the chicken sandwich meal.
Really enjoy this McDonald's, always good service and have never got my order wrong, I would say this is the best one in wigan for good service. Food always hot. Well done to the team who work there.
