Shevington Balti us fantastic value for money, I would highly recomend the meal for one. It costs around £8 and it clearly is enough for both me and the missus. Possibly had around 15 takeaways from here and no complaints. Well worth a try! Delivery aswell.

Because we eat quite early I ordered a set meal for 2 at 4.45, I picked it up at 5.15 as arranged. The service was excellent and friendly. Really enjoyed the meal although the lamb was quite hot for me my wife enjoyed it. All in all it was better than others in the region I've used if a little more expensive, but for convenience and service I have found my new local Indian...

A huge thank you to Ali, Mo and the team.... They provide consistent excellent quality food and delivery service. They excelled on Sunday 7th August for my 60th birthday celebration with a marinaded leg of lamb, the most delicious samosas, onion bhajis and poppadoms. I can highly recommend the food they provide....

This is the best Indian in Wigan, hands down - I don't bother with anywhere else now. Authentic BIR dishes, everything tastes different and like it should. I've been exploring the menu as I like to do, and I'm usually met with the same bright red base sauce that tastes the same with a different level of heat. Not here! Generous portions, curries packed with massive pieces of chicken. Starters and sides are spot on too - no generic bought in stuff here. The bhajis are addictive. Lovely bunch at the shop too. Brilliant friendly service every time. Pricing is spot on too - excellent value for what you get. I usually collect and the food is always ready in 30-45 mins. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

First time and definitely not the last!! We telephoned our order of chicken southern garlic and chicken tikka pathia, pilau rice and garlic naan bread, both meals were beautiful. The order was ready to collect at the time they said. Thankyou we will be back soon!!!!

We had avoided this takeaway for a number of years after a poor meal from there, but it has been transformed under the new name and presumably new owners/chef and is now our favourite takeaway in the whole of Wigan. Superb tasty food and have always had it delivered promptly and still hot when using their delivery service. Also very little in the way of greasy packaging (usually the sign of excess oil and a less healthy meal). Website easy to use, although it seems like they may only take cash on delivery as no option for credit card at checkout. Highly recommended and worth another try if, like us, you were put off by their previous reputation.

Under new management, and the food is really good. Authentic dishes and a huge variety. Deliveries can get a little busy at peak times so order early or it could take 1 -2 hours - but it's well worth the wait :O)

Sat 4th April Ordered at 4.30pm, arrived at 5.13pm. Perfect Just had with the wife, the elephant kebab starter, Balti Naga and balti masala. Outstanding The baby elephant in gathurst when these lads ran it was extremely good food. They have taken the quality of the food to this takeaway. Highly recommend.
