Love Gaskells chippy. Great food, always hot and fresh. Due to high prices, its a treat rather than a regular occasion
Food hot and tasty very clean would recommend, but staff not very plesent
Stopped on the way back home. Couple large chips, battered sausage and curry sauces. Proper tasty food loved the battered sausage! Been back a few times now for them. Curry sauce is really good - seems similar in price to other local chippies tbh but these do good chips

My experience was wonderful, Both myself and the wife had fish and chips and the children had sausage and chips. Nice to see a real English chippy flourishing. The size of the servings where excellent, staff as helpful as you need them to be. portion sizes seem to be dwindling whilst the price goes up. Chips can be good one day but bad the next time, depends on who's cooking i guess. Used to love come here.
No other English chippy is worthy. This place has the finest Fish, chips & curry you could imagine! The only English chippy worth considering if your in the area 👍 If you are not in the area, its well worth the travel!
Can seem expensive upon first glance, but potion size and quality more than compensate, a plaice you will definitely go back too.
Can't beat fish and chips! They're friendly and the fish is always really good, white, flaky with crispy batter. The portions of chips are huge too.
Great fish and chip shop. Been there since early 1970s, maybe even older. Still has the same shop name
An excellent chippy! Fish was fab, as was the freshly cooked chips. The gravy was tasty as well. Service was good and friendly! Prices were reasonable too!
