Only stopped for a couple of pints whilst on a walk with the dog, so can't really give a comprehensive review. Also kitchen still being refurbished. Pub seemed OK, beer garden nice. Will revisit when up and running.
Called in this pub for lunch just to see what it was like as my son has started going to the quiz night. Absolutely lovely. Clean, exceptional food and ladies who were serving were welcoming, very please nt and attentive. Will definitely go again.
Just called in here for the first time while driving past. The staff was welcoming from first entrance and very helpful. The food was beautiful and defeated us all as the portions were massive, home cooked food at its best.

First visit and found it very welcoming, excellent menu choice with more than generous portions, had starters,mains we couldn't finish and had to miss out on dessert as too full,all staff great service will return,highly recommend a visit.
New Chef!! Went to try new dishes by new chef Andy snd Ste and wasn't dissapointed. 3 of us loved our meals, freshly cooked and very tasty. Went in on way home from work, never tried the food but the smells coming from the kitchen where tantalising I'm not gonna lie. Will deffo be going back to try their food. The pint was delightful and extremely well priced. Will go back again for sure.
Had an absolute lovely meal here recently after work with the wife and newborn. I had the gammon which was really lovely and a great portion and the wife had fish and chips. The fish was massive and well worth the value. Definitely recommend.
We had the fish and chips, have to honestly say it was the best I have had and a massive piece of cod perfectly cooked and the hand cut chips were to die for, proper authentic pub food a real throw back to the 70s. Fantastic place for a meal

Nice food, friendly service. Shows kickball on the TV screens if you like that sort of thing. Not too loud though, if you've no interest you can easily ignore it.
Food is served hot. Choice is good. Do smaller portions. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere. Inside needs a lick of paint and de cluttering with ornaments etc. But it is clean. I will be going back.

Friendly welcome, very good service and all the food was clearly home made! I had the chicken and ham pie which was very good and packed with both chicken and ham my wife had the steak and ale pie which she really enjoyed too. Both meals were generous and very reasonably priced too
Great food, excellent service. I ordered the gammon which was really good quality and cooked well. My husband had chilli which was packed full of chunks of tender beef. Excellent value too at less than £25 including drinks. Great mid week go to!
