The Raven - Wigan - Photo album

An Architectural gem, tastefully decorated, 3 ales on the bar, the once proud Raven pub sign is rather worn, a shame, it would make the pub look so much more inviting from the outside with a refresh.
Sunday nights at the raven are world class, live local singer in Mark Frith. The beer garden was bouncing,
Always call in for a few pints when in Wigan as this is one of the pubs which has retained its character.
Food I've never seen on a menu before, "Fish Finger Butty", which I thought was very unique.
Very busy place. Food was good, I had the curry, portions good too. No rice just chips.
Nice friendly pub and good atmosphere.
Nice town centre pub. Excellent food, Italian 🍕 and trad. Wigan Pie 'n peas etc. Good selection of drinks but no cask ale when I last called in.
Lovely old pub, friendly staff and good selection beers and food at reasonable prices
Had a Beer or two with Friends yesterday. Smashing Pub right in the centre of Wigan. Full of Character and Atmosphere!
Absolutely love this pub it had a very nice atmosphere. There is life music which is great too. The decor is beautiful. Thanks.
Lovely place to visit but how ever little slack on hygiene
Large traditional pub with good quality beer. First time visit & will return. Thursday was fairly quiet but expect busy Fri/Sat.
A traditional pub in the heart of Wigan. Convenient as a meeting place. Tetley's is almost always good they like serving the very pale beers that have become fashionable some are better than others. But they will usually let you try before you buy. Update: popped in for a pint and a pie with friend
Really good pub food, steak and black pudding pie, good beers vanilla stout and plum porter were lovely
