Nipped in today on-spec so didn't have a reservation but managed to get a couple of seats at the window, had lovely sandwiches with side salad leaves (which were very generously filled on lovely bread - salted beef and mum's picnic ones) with a capuccino and americano coffees £18.95 in total. Had already booked in for a couple of special nights they do before calling in today but wanted to see what it was like as never been before, thought it was all very good and will be back again for mid,-shopping coffee, even got a couple of cakes to takeaway today to enjoy later. Nice little cafe with good decor/atmosphere.

We booked here for my mum's birthday and upon arrival were greeted by a nice friendly face. The menu was explained very well as this was our first time visiting after hearing reviews from others. The sandwiches where very good value for money and the produce tasted so fresh. Great menu option and I didn't have a cake but they also looked delicious. Lovely little wigan gem.

Oh my life. I had a full Monty sandwich today (without black pudding) and it was possibly the best sandwich I have ever had. And I love sandwiches. And the best cup of tea I've possibly ever had too. Thank you.

First visit today and we must say it was a great find. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere and quirky decór. The only negative was the limited parking. We will definitely be calling again.

Staying at spoons across road. Obviously not eating food at the spoons! So went across the road from the Brockett coffee was good I had salmon salad was very tasty but only a small amount of salmon. She had chicken ceasar salad chicken plentiful both very happy . Nice place portions a bit small would make a killing selling larger portions of proper food as not many can stomach weatherspoons food yuk

Always a friendly welcome and great atmosphere whenever we go.. Delicious sandwiches/pizzas. I went for the grilled cheese (tuna melt) 🤤 nice selection of draught/craft beers on tap and some of the best homemade cakes I've had in a long time.. the pbj bar was so good ❤️👍🏻

Lovely staff! Great spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Try the Caprese Salad if you go for lunch. I recently went for stone baked pizza and cocktails and it was possibly the best pizza I’ve had… I cant stop thinking about it!

Lovely food, a bit pricey but worth it. Went in Friday lunch time so not many people to create an atmosphere.

This is the first time I have eaten here although I have been for coffee before (which is really good). The food was lovely and well presented. I had the cous cous salad-really tasty. The staff were really nice and attentive and as it was my friends baby shower they made sure we were really looked after. Will definitely 've back again.

This was my first time coming to Lily & Arthur’s and all I can say is, words won’t do it justice for how good it is! You have to go and experience the place for yourself!! When me and my partner went, we were received by a lovely and welcoming female waitress. Any help we needed in navigating the menu she was always on hand to help us. Also, for us, it was very refreshing to go in on Good Friday and see the waitress proudly wearing her cross necklace while serving. A little thing on top of everything else, but very much added to our experience. I got a sandwich myself and my partner got one of the toasties. Can I just say, I have never had so much goodness loaded into a Sandwich in all my life. It was incredible. The bread I believe is made from scratch so is beautifully fresh, and the filling inside the Sandwich is a very generous amount for you to enjoy! My partner had a toastie which was very tasty too, with a wonderful amount to enjoy. We loved it there, and would recommend the place to anyone! We can’t wait to go for lunch again but also go in the evening one time to experience an equally amazing evening menu too!

Found this by chance, it's a little gem we went for an impromptu brunch. The food and service were excellent! Only issue is parking as the nearby streets are for permit holders. The staff were very helpful in giving us options on where to park. We'll most definitely be going again the next time we're in the area.

My wife and I recently spent 5 weeks in Wigan visiting friends and family. We were fortunate enough to have found Lilly and Arthur's. We were there at least once a day and were never disappointed with the food or service. Their bread is to die for. Wish they could send it to the states. Bacon and avocado sandwiches and charcuterie board are a winner. Thank you Lilly and Arthur's for making our stay just a little more special.

Had a really lovely meal here, cannot recommend the Carprese pizza enough. Highly recommended and I look forward to my next visit. The lady who served us was absolutely lovely and broadened my cheese knowledge greatly.

First visit to meet up with family who live in Standish and Wigan. Bar and Kitchen used regularly by Niece and we were bowled over with the quality and size of sandwiches freshly made. The team are friendly and helpful. Will definitely eat here again the next time we are in the Wigan area.

We love this place. Sandwiches are always freshly made to order and the cakes are delicious too. Very friendly staff always make you welcome. Takeaway option is very handy and quick if you phone your order in first.
