Went to the bucks head for a baby shower on Friday, the food was lovely and the staff was really friendly and helpful, there was 15 of us and the staff went beyond to make sure everything went well for us

Called in our Sunday and the lady accommodated us even we hadn’t booked. The carvery was best pub carvery I have ever ordered from a pub.The meat was proper joints,the roast potatoes nice and crispy,the veg fresh and Garvey nice and thick.Cant wait to try the steak challenge next when I call in.
Came on Saturday for a birthday meal , the food was gorgeous and staff were lovely .

Came for a 21st meal on Tuesday 13th March. There were roughly 20 of us which you would assume would be difficult to manage in a small restaurant however all the food was perfect would definitely come again!
Booked a table for 9 if us today for a carvery and all of us thoroughly enjoyed it,.. excellent food and service the best carvery around and that’s coming from someone who’s very fussy.

Just had a fantastic meal with the family, the staff absolutely brilliant. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. We have just booked a table for mothers day it was so good.
We went Tuesday night with 10 friend, service and food was exceptional, the chef made a superb food and the waitress did a fantastic job . Very highly rated, hope to be back soon , thank you for your service and great hospitality.

Wanted to try this friendly looking pub. Turned up without a reservation ( not a good idea ) but they was very pleased to fit us in. Beautiful carvery. Definitely coming again.
Went for a carvery today. Staff were all very friendly, the food was lovely, tasted like proper home cooked food. The apple crumble and custard was devine. Then sat outside in the beer garden. Great area for kids and adults. Lovely place, recommended.

I recently visited The Bucks Head in Abram and had a great experience. The food was lovely, and I especially enjoyed the steak pie. The seating area was quiet during my visit on a Friday tea time, which created a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, I had a great time at The Bucks Head, and I am looking forward to returning in the future.

A lovely warm welcome as we arrived. The place was well managed for the current situation and felt comfortable and safe. We were served quickly and I had messaged in advance to see if they could cater for my dietary requirements, as I'm unable to eat gluten or dairy. The manager spoke to me at my table to advise what was suitable for me. Beautiful food, freshly cooked and well presented. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Food served Wednesday to Sunday, and I will definitely be back. Also easy access for wheelchairs etc.
The carvery here is 2nd to none. The quality and taste of food is worth so much more than the £8.45 it costs.
We asked for a special favour, to have some gravy to take with us for Christmas Dinner to which they helped us out for no cost!
To add ontop, the draught beer here is fantastic, pints are reasonably priced but a really good pint, expecially the Birra Morrretti.
We had a lovely meal. But would have liked meat Lasagna, not just veggie version 👍👍

Last minute decision to go for a carvery at the Bucks Head. Didn't book, arrived at 1pm and we were easily seated at a table for two.
Ordered 2 medium carveries with beef and pork.
Plenty on the plates, just right for us, we cleared our plates not a morsel left.
Finished with Apple crumble and custard.
We thought the meal was excellent value.
Food was top notch as always firework display was amazing fantastic family local pub
First time visiting the Bucks Head, we enjoyed the Sunday carvery. Service was excellent,food was perfect, a really good plateful of traditional roast and veg, exceptional value.
