Where do I start? With a MASSIVE THANK YOU to all the staff at Rivaj who made this evening such a pleasurable and enjoyable experience for my daughter's 10th birthday.
From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble. The staff interacted with their younger dining guests (8x 9/10 year olds).....and even invited them up to the champagne bar to pose for photos and have a chat before making our way to the table.
As requested, the table had been set up with balloons that I'd taken in and a special fuss was made of the birthday girl. All the kids thoroughly enjoyed the poppadoms and chutney trays.
The main dishes were delicious; some of the kids even opted for korma, while those who weren't feeling too adventurous opted for chicken nuggets.
Us bigger people enjoyed the akbari cham cham and malia kofta; both of which we would personally recommend. The food was so tasty and presented beautifully!
At the end of the meal, the staff put the " Happy Birthday" music on their P.A system and presented the birthday girl with her cake alight with a very fancy sparkler candle (courtesy of Rivaj!)
The whole experience was enjoyed by all.
Thank you so much to the staff who made it a very positive celebration where lots of happy memories were made.

Amazing food every time we have been and today was no different. Fabulous, friendly staff who welcome everyone and even made a young child at feel special ( who was also immaculately behaved)
Lovely food, excellent service, we go regularly and are well looked after be it two if us or twenty of us, definitely worth a visit and the bonus of a champagne and cocktail bar
Best Indian restaurant around and the service is spot on...has a family we been to most restaurants in the Borough and can honestly say this is best by far... Highly recommended ��

We ordered a chicken naga and a chicken madras; both were some of the best curries we have ever had! The consistency was just right, chicken was cooked well, and all sides were delicious.
Additionally, staff were accommodating and lovely! If we're back in the area in future, we will definitely visit again.

Went after a recommendation form a work colleague, took my wife for our wedding anniversary, food was exceptionally tasty, staff were friendly and easy to talk too, everything we had was reasonably priced, will definitely be going back

The only bad thing with rivaj is the consistency. Sometimes it can be absolutely blinding then the next visit poor. Tonight was very good, only a couple bits of lamb were chewy but was a lovely meal. Wish the takeaway or just eat delivery had the same levels of meat as eat in though.
Been here twice for meals in the restaurant, and once for takeaway - and all times have been absolutely amazing - the food and service is the best around.
We went to Rivaj for a family meal this evening. The food was fantastic, the portion sizes were genourous and the service was excellent. I would definately recommend and look forward to dining here again.

An excellent meal, excellent service last night . The place was so busy I was unsure how they would handle serving everyone? However the fantastic management and customer service ensured everyone was looked after. I will certainly be returning . Been going to this restaurant for years , this place is exceptional and we are always made to feel welcome. Service and food are second to none and the lovely extremely polite boss always makes sure you are happy. Staff very polite and helpful. Would highly recommend.
