Popped in for the first time yesterday, so only had a drink with my cousin, but we are going back for a meal next week.
The place is clean and spacious with a really friendly atmosphere.

First meal I've ever had here and was delicious, table service was good. Music playing nicely in the background.
My only bit of criticism and this is me personally, the homemade chips were more like wedges than chips
We had a lovely tea for three. The two course meal deal was great. The black pudding stack is excellent. Will be back next month.
Beautiful food, lovely service and surroundings. Staff were great and happy to help with any needs. I had steak and it was cooked to perfection. 5 star.
We really did enjoy our visit to the Cookhouse pub and kitchen ( formally the Albion pub) The fish and chips was undoubtedly the best we have ever had in any pub or restaurant. The staff were also excellent and helpful.
Recently had a lovely family meal there. Service was excellent and friendly. Our kids enjoyed the food and the colouring pack. Everyone was well spaced out within the pub. The food was delicious and I really enjoyed my mixed grill! We'll be back

Couldn't fault the place but it was early when we were there so didn't expect too much, really enjoyed the food, the staff couldn't do enough and we all said we'd go back so enough said
