Cracking little pub. And it is little. But it's a proper pub. Good choice of beers, live sports, food looks (and smells) nice but haven't tried any yet. We was there on a Sunday and they had live music out back in the beer garden, which they've done really well. Well done.

We had a great afternoon at the Horse and Jockey celebrating our daughters Baby shower, the garden room was the best venue, the food we chose, bacon and sausage barms with fries was such a good choice and went down so well. The beer garden was so busy and yet our service was 2nd to none. Thank you

The outside seating area is probably one of the best I've ever experienced. It has a large covered area with comfortable seating, overhead heaters and a large projector screen. Inside it is still pretty much the same as it's been for years in terms of layout and it still retains a lot of it's tradit
Ha a fabulous afternoon with family and friends on Sunday afternoon. We were a party of 20 and the service was excellent no hiccups all food arrived hot and every dish was absolutely fabulous. Very good portions and the staff went above and beyond to make our afternoon so special . Thank you so much

Pleasantly deceptive. Has a beer garden and dining area at the back. The front has seating outside, and a quaint bar area.
The garden area has it's own bar as well.
Will definitely give for a return visit.

Very small inside, but this is ideal to sit outside with large seating area under cover, also play area for children.

Also backs onto Victoria Park and next to main entrance.
