Brings back so many memories and still tastes as great as it did as a young child! Certainly one of my best childhood moments coming here on the weekend.

Had brunch there yesterday and not only was it cooked to perfection but was very generous in quantity and the service to be praised!

Thank you to the lovely staff at Bay Tree Tea Rooms for the great lunch we had today. My twin sister and me enjoyed a delicious hot lunch (Macaroni cheese and garlic bread, and cheese omelette and sauteed potatoes), along with 2 pots of tea each! Wishing you continued success with your tea rooms.

Amazing baby shower for Danni. Thank you so much, wonderful food, the cakes were lovely. Also gluten free sandwiches and cakes for me. The area was decorated for us and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you once again Carol.

Food is superb and reasonably priced and its set in a really nice little shopping area. Not a lot of room in there, so be prepared to wait at busy times because it does get busy. The service is good but there is not room for wheelchairs etc. although there is disabled parking directly outside on the road. Definitely worth popping in for a quick breakfast or a quick lunch before sauntering around the lovely sweet shop next door or the quaint charity shop a few yards away.

Everything I expected from tea rooms in a nice little arcade off a traditional English market square. The full English breakfast was good quality food, nicely cooked and with real leaf tea too. Good staff and a hospitable owner who made us feel very welcome. Because the tea rooms are in an arcade, there are other little shops to look at on the way in/out. A nice experience and ideal if you have visitors to entertain. Will definitely return.

We visited here on the off chance we could get 6 seats. The owner was very accommodating and very friendly even asked what music we liked to listen to. The menu is varied with food you would not normally get on a café menu ie: bubble and squeak, pancake with bacon and egg and maple syrup, sweet potato fritters etc. The lemon meringue pie is huge!! The service and food is excellent best café I've been to in a long time.

Just fabulous! This little beauty was a complete surprise! Looking for somewhere to have breakfast? GO HERE! Coffee is amazing (I had 4 cups and even purchased a bag of the beans to take home) service was attentive and friendly and the breakfast offerings are extensive. Want to mix it up a little? ...try the banana shaped waffle with a sausage on and a selfish pour of maple syrup, yummy!

After being turned away by Lilly's (everyone had booked up the whole of Saturday), we found this gem whilst exploring. I had a scone but I looked at the other customer's cakes with envy. The lemon meringue in particular looked amazing. Going to come here first from now on.

Very nice little family run cafe in a very sweet old fashioned style shopping arcade All very nice Wonderful attentive staff and spotlessly clean My only concern is that seating is wooden benches topped with loose cushions But this is really nit picking Highly recommended
