Lunch for 3 on a quiet day. Interesting, stylishly modern interior. Different styles in different areas. Good selection of drinks. Very tasty food at reasonable prices, though the serving was a little too large for me - although I finished it I was uncomfortably full. I would definitely go back.

Came here with my wife for lunch on a rainy August day. Our two small dogs were welcomed warmly which was lovely. I had sausage and mash, with caramelised onions, bacon and gravy which was delicious. My wife had a burger - be warned that these are huge - with fantastic chips and salad garnish. Very good value, especially considering the quality of the food, and excellent service.

Visited twice whilst we were camping up the road. First visit we had a lovely meal - the pie menu is fantastic! The next day we stopped just for drinks on the walk back from Wickham. Great service, warm welcome for dogs and a cosy atmosphere. Not busy on either occasion which was a real shame as it's a great pub and we would definitely go back if we are in the area again.

Great to see a good old country pub up and running. Food was great,a bit of a wait for it but was tasty. Lady behind bar was very friendly. Doggies allowed in as well.

Our first visit, After having a lovely walk along Wickham,We stopped off for a bit of lunch. Lovely clean pub, welcoming from the young lad. Food OMG!! The Lamb pie absolutely delicious & a good portion, when our food was brought out the gentleman saw we had a dog, Then returned with a big bowl of water & some treats. Would definitely recommend. Look forward to returning.

Discovered this fab pub while passing through & so glad we did. Conveniently located, service was thoughtful and very friendly and then there’s the food. We tried out the pie menu, I had the steak and Stilton, my OH had the chicken and leek but I can only speak for mine. It was soooo delicious that I was very disappointed when it was finished ! We sat in the garden area because the sun was perfectly warm and so, all in all, we had a most enjoyable lunch time together. We will definitely be ‘passing’ by again. Well done Roebuck Inn, you have got a lot right !!

Popped in for a drink and a starter. Lovely pub, nicely decorated and staff were so friendly. Nice touch giving our dog water and some treats! :)

We have visited this pub over many years while camping at Rooksbury. They offer some great local ales, and have focused their food offering around some very lovely pies. The clever trick is the choices. Choose your pie, then choose your sides (2) then choose your toppings (2). This makes for a lovely personalised meal and it was great. The test is always "would we go back"? The answer a very positive "yes"!

My wife and I went for lunch with her sister and husband to the Roebuck Inn. The greeting we had when we arrived was friendly and courteous. The meals we had were delicious. It makes a change to have freshly cooked vegetables, not out of a freezer bag. If you are passing by drop in for a meal, I am sure that you will be impressed.

We had a lovely lunch. They was a large number of us, and we did have to wait about 45mins for the food, but it was extremely well presented and very large portions. But not expensive. I will be recommending this pub to my friends and family
