Nice experience, great for kids. Seeing fruit being grown and picking it. Nice cafe on site with loads of seating. Good farm shop with a wide range of food and drink. Overall definitely worth a visit.
Very good farm shop with café
Much larger than what I was expecting. Tonnes of different stock available, all looked very fresh and yummy ! There's fruit, veg, cakes, bread products and butchers fridge plus much more as u can see from my photos !
Out side is a kids play area with playground, crazy golf, goats, inflatable slide and an old tractor they can sit on.
On the farm next door is a pick your own fruit area, it's huge and the fruit tastes amazing ! This was the aim reason we visited today. Never had such ymy fresh fruit and its good value for money !
A good family day out, strawberry picking. I think the medium tubs were £6 and large pots £13. Great idea if your looking to make jam.
The cafe does get busy in holidays so maybe worth reserving a table. The farm shop is well stocked with a good variety, and the children playground is a good idea with some farm animals around the play area.
Great for PYO fruit. £13.50 for a 2kg basket to fill up with whatever you want . Farm shop is good too with lots of offerings
We visited here 2 weeks ago with my 3 year old and 8 month old lituraly on a offchance as were passing by. Thoroughly enjoyed our fruit picking and left with ample amounts of strawberries and raspberries at an also very good price - taking into consideration of the experiance, freshness of just picked products and the fruits themselves. The outdoor play area looked great, although we avoided it as was during the heatwave and the slide were very hot. Popped into the cafe for a bite to eat before heading home. Good quality food at reasonable prices too. Overall a really enjoyable day. Will return next year for more fruit picking!
Love this farm shop, lovely plants and plenty of first class fresh produce.
Spencers is an amazing place. Fruit picking, cafe and fabulous farm shop aswell as a play area for the children. My children love coming here and so do I!
Awesome few hours spent here picking Strawberries & Cherries plus some lovely refreshments from the cafe whilst the herberts had a play!!

We went with the car club parking was very easy, Tea and a sausage roll went down very nicely I would recommend this as a midpoint stop on any of the car tours around north Essex
Beautiful place plenty of ripe fruit waiting to be picked and more sections still growing for future customers. Lovely food in the cafe and plenty of fresh produce in the shop loved the clotted cream and I was very surprised and happy to see the Jersey cream a favourite cream that I've not had since I was last in Jersey.
It's a cheap day out if you take a pack lunch but even purchasing food was not overly expensive.
Great little play area too for the children and the Beautiful goats who were understandably a bit warm on Saturday still posed for a photo. Great fun was had by all the family.
If you fancy pick your own then this is the place to go. Also a shop if you don't want to pick your own fruit.
Nice selection of fruit and vegetables. Could do with more plants, but maybe i missed them.
Surprisingly impressive food choices can be found here. The restaurant was fantastic as was the Farm Shop.

Food was lovely it's nice to go somewhere were the food is good, and not have anything to complain about.
A wonderful place. The food was delicious and plentiful. We stuffed ourselves silly. Great for meat eaters and veggies. The staff were attentive and friendly. Watching the goats playing kept my little person well amused whilst we waited. They are obviously very happy animals in good condition. We will be back as soon as possible. Thanks for a lovely time

We had such a great time at the PYO fruit farm and at the farm shop/cafe. We had a huge issue with our car and were stuck in the farm shop car park for over 5 hours. Darren and all the staff couldn't do enough to help us, they lent us a phone charger for the afternoon, they gave us snacks and drinks to keep us going as we had to stay past closing to wait for a recovery vehicle with 2 young children. They offered help in finding a taxi and recovery vehicle. All the staff were so helpful and kind and made a bad situation actually very nice and enjoyable in the end! The play area here for kids is great, there is loads to do aside from the fruit picking, a gorgeous cafe with inside and outside seating, a bouncy castle, kids play ground, crazy golf, goats and chickens. It is such a fab place and can't wait to go back WITH our car keys next time ;) thanks so much Darren and team for creating such a fab place and a lovely day out, but also for being such nice people that went out of your way to help us. We are so grateful x
