Phenomenal staff! On leaving late in the dark and wet I had a flat tyre. I'm a retired woman and a blue disabled badge holder. The hospitality and kindness they extended me were above and beyond. Lovely atmosphere and food good. I will be back.
Great food a drinks. Service was great from all members of staff highly recommend menu suggestion on sunday some smaller plate option sandwichs or subs with fries.
Went for a family birthday lunch today. The service was very good and the food was lovely. There's a good veggie choice on the menu. I had the Mushroom Wellington and I can honestly say it was the best veggie Sunday roast I've had.
Haven't been here for a while... but the food and the service were great..the lunch options we chose are not listed on here , the beef burger and spicy chicken burger were yummy and my dad loved the sausage and mash! having lots of renovations atm which is why 4 stars on atmosphere!
Such a great welcome. Food exceptional and reasonably priced. Great Halloween atmosphere. Car park a little small during works to extend the premises.
Beautiful place food and people also dog friendly with lovely dog food
Great little pub. Ample parking. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Good selection of drinks and menu choices. I only wanted a light bite, so opted for just a starter and dessert. Unfortunately, the starter was sold out, so jumped straight into dessert! The menu is what I consider proper high level pub f
Called in with the family for a drink. Very friendly welcome and lovely drinks. Sat outside in the extensive, mostly covered, garden. They have just started a new extension to provide over 50 more covers but this doesn,t effect the pub in any way.
Lovely pub. Didn’t eat on this occasion but have eaten here before and the food is lovely. Fab garden area and marque to the back. Great for kids plus Moretti on draft, what more could you want!
Staff are lovely. Food was ok. The beef was not at its best in my opinion and two out of four meals had to be sent back as they were cold. Drinks selection is good. A nice environment too. Worth a visit and hopefully the roast will be better.
Lovely old pub (one of very few still standing and in action). Local pub to us. Great go to if you need a catch up with friends ormore of an occasion eg Birthday. Outside space including patio and garden Friendly and proffessional service Relaxed atmosphere Vegan options which I'm thankful for, howe

Pleased to call this my local pub. First visit since moving to the area and finished off a lamb shank, plumb crumble and a pint of Doombar - lovely job. I was secretly pleased that my friends struggled to finish theirs as it meant more of the crunchy vegetables and a double helping of dessert - made
A beautiful quant pub, with no noisy music or blaring tv screen. Food was delicious as was dessert. Made hubbys day as they had cheese and biscuits to end the meal, something you don’t find anywhere these days. Even dog friendly so caters for all the family. Staff were polite and courteous. Very rea
