I can see why others gave Morags Cafe 5 star reviews, it’s the jewel of Wick High Street.
It’s a café with a surprise, a sweet shop, a games room and a family eatery area. If you’re travelling with a family and looking for an inexpensive meal then this is it.
The shop was empty when I first came in but within 15 minutes most tables were full.
I had a lovely full breakfast and coffee. Nicely cooked and plentiful.

Stopped for lunch just now. Chose the all day breakfast and a mug of tea. Just brilliant - one of the best breakfasts I’ve had - great food and service. Highly recommended
Nice friendly staff when ordering our takeaway and the cafe was busy so thats a good sign. We had the steak and cheese and the Tuna melt cheese panini which where really nice and loaded with cheese. We got a side portion of chips which where underwhelming as they reminded us of McDonalds chips which we are not a big fan of. We would return again.
A superb place with an added surprise!
We were looking for somewhere in Wick for breakfast when driving past, and based on the reviews chose Morags - certainly weren't disappointed! The food and drinks (full breakfasts, smoothies and milkshakes) were great, and found an added surprise that there was an arcade in the back of the building which entertained the kids (big and small!) before food.

One of the best breakfast I’ve had during this NC500 trip, a lovely and wam place to enjoy the morning time. Owners are so friendly and the food is great!
Good breakfast at a reasonable price
Went in for the first time on Sunday for a cooked breakfast - it was excellent especially the hash browns which were nice and crispy - unlike the usual lump offering from other cafes. Will definitely be back - and Morags fudge was a real treat!

Terrific little cafe good food and service great atmosphere, no long wait and food arrived quickly after ordering, what more can you want. Highly recommended if you are in the area.
If you are looking for a place for food then look no further than Morags . It has really friendly service and very clean , the menu has plenty to choose from and if you have kids well cover there eyes as theres an Aladdin's Cave of sweets and games straight through next door . The milkshakes are to die for and the food is excellent. I wish i got more pictures as the decor is really cool inside . Honestly do bother going to Wetherspoons, morags is 10 × better . Will definitely be back when back in wick . Well done everone involved in running this little Gem . 👏👏👏👏👏👏😉😉😉 .
I have since been back to get lunch here and it was a total let down . I don't know what has went wrong or changed but the coffee was cheap horrible tasting and the breakfast was greasy and didn't taste good atall . It was that bad that i left it as did my wife and 2 kids , they got diffrent things to eat and the majority of the food was left on the table . Very disappointed. Might be back if they change things back .

I've been eating here for years. Morag makes you so welcome & the food is homemade & at very good value. Lots of traditional old family favourites on the menu too

Got a baked potato with some tuna and also the homemade chili. It was very tasty and wholesome. Was a good breakfast to start the day.
Stopped off for some food whilst on route to Thurso. Great selection of wraps, good service and good coffee.
