Accidentally find the restaurant…by the water! Of course ;) but their food even surprise you more! Amicable servants, decent meal, nice ambiance…fabulous, even for the pre-dinner bread with the starters! The day before was my birthday, this experience made me feel like a celebration once again. Highly recommended, the snail, the lamb chop the Marseille fish soup and the meat-paste too! Especially even the complimentary mashed potatoes which comes with the main dish was good. For the next time I will try the Burgundy beef. Thanks for giving me such a good time.

Excellent French restaurant. Ambience perfect, good choice of food which was delicious. Staff friendly. French chef came out briefly to check the customers' food was to their liking, which was a really lovely touch. Maybe a bit pricey, but for us it is more of a special occasion place. We were on holiday at the time, so we will definitely return when next in the area. Would highly recommend.

Food is okay, we ordered the pheasant and lamb, lamb is much better! A bit overpriced especially the mains, I think nothing below 19£ but okay on the other hand not too much choices around

What a lovely surprise to have a seafood soup and cheese omelette for lunch at Wick! You must stop at Bord de l’eau when you’re passing Wick 😍 They open for lunch only until 2pm and then open again for dinner from 6pm.

The best lobster thermodore ever. I've never had frogs legs either so a pleasant treat. Only missed a bit of atmosphere with no background music. Don't let that put you off though.

WoW! Incredible food experience!! We are a French Canadian couple in our thirties, and were absolutely blown away by this restaurant. The chef came out to speak to us and introduce himself (he’s also from southern France). Very friendly and checked up on all the tables himself to ensure the guests were all satisfied. We had the escargot as our starter (fantastic!) I had the duck breast « magret de canard » and my boyfriend had the pheasant both cooked to medium rare to perfection! The flavors of the sauce complimented meat and the amount of food was more than enough, but not too much! Really enjoyed this place, very reasonably priced, especially for the quality of the meal. Definitely recommend a MUST EAT HERE!! Only thing that we weren’t use to was there was no music so the ambiance seems a little different than we are use to, but didn’t bother me so I give this a 5 out of 5 stars!

Excellent. The only problem was what to choose. A French carte, good selection of French wines beautifully cooked and presented. Wish I lived nearer.

Was pleasantly surprised to find a French restaurant in Wick, we just had to try the place. Ordered classic French - Snails, confit duck and creme brulee. Delicious! Washed down with a litre of the house wine, brandy coffee liqueur, a brandy and a white coffee. Very nice evening indeed. Nice touch was the Chef coming round to the diners after eating. Pity it is 450 miles away or we would certainly become regulars.
