What a place! Excellent Chinese food, friendly staff, quick service, take your own drink/wine/beer. They provide the glasses. What more could you ask for. Very highly recommended. Suggest you book in advance as this place is getting very popular, and deservedly too.
Fantastic food and great service. Such a lovely lady who is very friendly and very honest telling you that you have ordered too much! Kids love the English choice and I love the Chinese selection. It's all fresh home cooked dishes. They do the best salt, pepper and chilli chips! Visited many times and never been disappointed. Would definitely recommend!

Only recently starting going to Not Just Café and we are very impressed.
Very friendly service, great coffee and hot, tasty food.
So far we have only had the breakfasts or their Chinese meals - possibly the best Sweet & Sour chicken I have ever had. We have been twice in the early evening and each had a Chinese starter and main course (huge portions), a free drink is included in the price if you have the 2 courses.
The food was beautifully presented and piping hot (you even get a lovely hot towel after the starters) and for under £20 in total, very good value.
Highly recommended, great full English breakfast all day and Chinese meals, burgers anything really , the name is perfect Not Just (a) Cafe, As already said no charge to take your own wine, beer spirits in when eating which brings the cost of a night out better than anywhere else in the town. Free soft drinks when you order a starter and main. I had all the family there for my birthday in February there was 12 of us and we had the adjoining room all to ourselves the bill came to £113 for 12 starters, main meals and some puddings. Bloody marvellous. And the portions are huge everyone from Crowland and Spalding were well impressed. :-) Alice is the lovely lady that runs it with her hard working husband in the kitchen

Just finished lunch here. Chicken in black bean sauce and chips. Food was perfectly cooked and came out piping hot and in generous portions :-)
Happily recommend this place if anyone is out this way and needs a bite to eat.

This place is not what I expected in the best way.
Take your own alcohol, with no corkage and amazing Chinese food. We shared the mixed starter, which was delicious. Especially the smoked chicken and the prawn toast. Then I had the vermicelli Singapore style. Lovely spice level, huge prawns and a generous portion.
Can't believe I've not been here before, but will definitely be back.

A superb experience. I opted for the vegetarian breakfast following a recommendation from my brother. The food was wonderful, cooked perfectly, hot, well presented. The customer service was excellent and the price incredible. My breakfast only cost £5 and the drink just £1.20 for a can of coke. I would highly recommend you book as unsurprisingly its gets very busy. As someone who used to work in the food and catering industry this is exactly how a restaurant/cafe should be run.
This is the cafe I judge other cafes by. For it is indeed not just a cafe. With Chinese as well as English food on the menu, you have plenty of choice. Fresh, plentiful food, that is tasty. Good service and friendly atmosphere 😋🙂

Popped in on the off chance at 5.30 and managed to get squeezed in. As ever the food was freshly made and delicious. Excellent friendly service. Very busy so best to book. Would definately recommend. Great value.
