Our Dog 🐕 loved this place. John and all his staff were so friendly. They really don't charge enough for what they provide. Proper breakfasts with fresh fresh warm pastries 🍰. Well lit welcoming restaurant 👌. Highly recommended......
Highly recommend here for an incredible Sunday roast. Great service, every morsel was delicious, and not only is it dog friendly (indoors and out), they served our dog his own roast (pictured in foil). Make sure you book in advance!

I absolutely love food - but EVERY morsel of this 8 (+1) wonder had me wanting more. Service was friendly and fast (admittedly they weren't that busy) and watching the chef conjure up these dishes of delight was a pleasure. I definitely will be visiting again. A+++
An absolutely lovely place to stay. We spent two nights here recently and it was fantastic. Our room was gorgeous. The bed was extremely comfortable and had lovely cozy pillows, which is a rarity.

Best vegetarian meal I have had in a very long time. I had the Moroccan Vegan Grill. So many wonderful flavours that mixed really well. The sides we ordered were also delicious. The chef and kitchen team are clearly really creative and that pays off in the amazing food.
The staff were also lovely.

Went for the 8 course tasting menu last night for my wife's 50th birthday and it was out-of-this-world AMAZING! Get the Groupon for it and go! NOW! You will not be sorry.

Rooms clean and you cannot tell dogs visit. Comfortable with a fabulous breakfast. Take wellies for a Riverside walk. Pigs pottering around the swimming pool and the Cockerell doesn't wake to early😊

Very luckily to get a table for date night and haven't been here since Feb pre lockdown. The special board is huge!! The quality of food here is amazing! Steaks cooked to perfection first Wagyu experience and won't be last very friendly and helpful staff look forward to returning again soon!
