We had a lovely dinner in this quiet pub. The food was lovely, home cooked with a lot of care. The staff were lovely. We were surprised that the restaurant was so quiet, it's a lovely spot, maybe just one of those quiet days. We enjoyed our visit.
Dinner with friends whilst at Silverstone for ths weekend. Delicious food and great service. Wine was fairly priced. booking essential on busy evenings! Had a lovely table in the window.
Had a birthday dinner after visiting Silverstone. Spacious car park, dishes are great and fresh. The WHITEBAIT is perfect! There is a awesome backyard with benches for enjoy the sunset view with a drink on you hand!
Fabulous stay, great location for Silverstone. Rooms comfy, lovely bedding everything u need. Shower pressure poor, but that’s a given in most places using so much. A superb quality huge breakfast. Gastro food great atmosphere.
A family lunch with a varied menu. Our choices were lovely. Recommend the scotch egg! Friendly informal service. All at a reasonable price. Also they are child friendly. My niece's 10 month old baby was accommodated without fuss. (PS we didn't use one of rooms)
Stayed here for 3 nights Friday thru Sunday for the F1 weekend. Our second stay, we came for the Moto GP last August, brought our daughter back this time. Its so well placed for an easy 20-25 minute walk to the track. Lived up to and exceeded our expectations this time. Room was lovely, beds comfy,
Good food is an understatement. I have been to places twice the price and half the quality of The Fox & Hounds. Their portions are generous, their quality is unbelievable. They say you get what you pay for and it shows. We had a burger and a pie. The pie, was home made, delicious, the beef was me
The food was fantastic, I was especially impressed by the fish which was cooked beautifully. The staff were very polite and accommodating. Will be back again!
Really lovely Sunday lunch, food was very tasty and well cooked! We will be back :)
Lovely food. Friendly bar staff. Always welcoming. Always good for a drink and a few pork scratchings after work. Bliss!
In 15 years of living in Towcester, this was the best food we have had. Every course was exquisite! The staff were great and the location is too.
Wonderful food and service. Took a little while for food so best to probably mention if in a rush before hand. Pork tenderloin splendid as was the seasoning. Burger looked amazing.
Very friendly and efficient staff. Good food at a reasonable price. Would definitely go back.
We had a very nice meal for my mothers 70th Birthday. There was a big gang of us, so we were put in a separate room. We were well looked after by the staff, who were all really friendly. The food was really good and I look forward to going back again.
Lovely evening meal and a few pints. Nice range of beers and the food was great. Service with a smile as well. Thanks.
We had a family lunch here. Great service and the food was delicious with well sized portions. The kids really enjoyed their meals also. To top things off, there was a nice selection of larger.
Lovely gastropods with excellent food and great wine at reasonable prices. Rooms are quite expensive between £90-£120 at time of booking however were immaculate and minimalist / contemporary. Only criticism would be 'breakfast hamper' of long life croissant, whilst served with nice butter and jam
