The sashimi is so tasty. Absolutely fabulous sushi (totally unlike the mass market stuff) so light and fresh. Yes it's on the expensive side but for this quality it's an absolute bargain!
Absolutely stunning quality poke bowl this week from Sooshi Sushi. Made to order this was a real treat with wonderfully fresh salmon and mango with a spicy signature sauce. Great portion size and friendly staff. Delighted and highly recommend you visit !
This is the best sushi we have had locally, ever! Plus they do sushi making classes which are both fun and instructive... I actually think we will be able to make sushi at home now.

Really good poke bowls. Had them on a number of occasions and have always been impressed. Generous portion size & good level of spice in the sauce.
Just tried a ramen bowl to try and warm me up and that's great too. Nice flavour in the broth - would defo get again.

Talk about service with a smile! Amazing service, great portion sizing, fairly priced for delicious food. Beautifully decorated shop. All the staff couldn't be friendlier, whilst being top drawer professionals who clearly know their stuff. When we asked them about their menu, despite being busy they were very happy to provide suggestions and information about what the dishes include (it's all fresh and the menu images clearly say they are representative, so just politely ask if you're not sure!).
The poke bowls are a great portion size and good value. I really fancied a bit of avocado in one despite it not being included. I asked nicely and they couldn't have been more accommodating!
I've worked in pubs and restaurants and know what great service is. In a high turnaround place like this, sometimes they're so busy ensuring everyone is served quickly. But any Qs, any requests and they couldn't be any more helpful. They always smile (unless you really don't deserve it). Perfect attitude from these pros. Keep doing what you're doing.

Popped in for lunch on a cold blustery day. Ordered the ramen made with kimchi broth, added chicken and a boiled egg for the extra protein hit! It was delicious- perfect size for me and just what I needed to warm up. Friendly service too. We ate in the south quay shed which is slightly soulless but the ramen more than made up for it! Followed it with their apple gyozas which were like a luxe version of a McDonald’s apple pie - scrumptious! Highly recommend eating here.
Popped into Whitstable for the day and decided to try Sooshi Sushi. I am so glad we did. The maki was unfortunately refrigerated which can alter the taste and texture of it, but the salmon nigiri, tuna nigiri and chicken gyoza were absolutely amazing. The rice was almost creamy and not stodgy at all, and the fish was extremely tasty, and generously sliced. The gyoza was hot and fresh.
If we're ever in the area again, we'll be back!
The most tasty inari rolls EVER. EVERYTHING is always fresh, and I just can't get over how tasty the eggs are in the ramen bowls. Absolutely love the food here
